These super fun earrings are made from Polymer Clay with added glitter. Using the simple ‘chop up’ method with a couple of additional techniques, you can easily create some amazing looks. I take you step by step through the whole process, so sit back, relax, and then have some fun and make your own.

The UV resin I used for one set is by Bekbek Makes and can be found here - bekbek.co.uk . If you are in the US, then Teresa Salgado from Tiny Pandora Crafting Boutique has a Deep Shine Resin which is also very good - search under UV Resin - tinypandora.com . Always follow the safety guide when using resins, personally, I always wear a mask.
Polymer Clay is oven baked, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the brand of clay you are using.
I used FIMO Soft Polymer Clay, but all well-known brands of polymer clay will work well for this project.
I used 3 groups of colours, with differing shades. The first was Brilliant Blue/Peppermint/White, the second Plum/Lilac/Rose and the third Raspberry/Rose/White/Aqua. I used White Acrylic Paint and Silver biodegradable micro glitter.
For the red/green earrings, I used Sunflower Yellow/Tangerine/Indian Red/Cherry Red, then White/Lemon Yellow/Sunflower Yellow/Tangerine/Indian Red and lastly White/Mint/a mid green mix/added Apple Green/Apple Green. I used silver acrylic paint and a mix of silver and green biodegradable micro glitter.
NB: As you will see from the tutorial there are many different ways to create this look, I have listed below everything I mentioned, so use what you have available, and you will not need all the items listed below.
Other than mentioned above, you may need/could use:
A polymer Clay Blade/craft knife/razor blade - please keep fingers away from sharp edges.
Small roller
Cling Film/plastic wrap (and masking tape - optional)
Gloves to protect your hands - optional
Earring Findings of your choice (I used simple fishhook ones, available from most bead shops)
2 inch (5cm) length of 0.6mm silver plated jewellery wire for each earring - or use whatever finish you wish for your earrings.
Jewellery pliers - if needed
Stainless Steel Soap - optional - An example of a stainless steel soap can be found here - www.amazon.co.uk/Generic-Stai...
Biodegradable Micro Glitter/Silver Metallic Leaf
I used White Castle Art acrylic paint - optional
Liquid Polymer Clay/UV resin or PVA glue, your choice, as all work equally well for this project (UV lamp if needed)
Polymer Clay Varnish/brush - optional
Lino Cutter/carving tools/hand protector - optional
Wet/dry sandpaper - I used 240 and 600 grit - optional
3mm/4mm Cable Needle - or something similar - whatever you have available
Cocktail Stick/needle
Cutter of your choice
A couple of small sheets of Baking Parchment/wax paper/tracing paper/parchment paper or something similar
Mixing pot/spatula
Biodegradable wet wipes, or wet cloths to clean your hands/clay as you work
Small Tile to bake on.
Aluminium foil to cover the clay while it bakes.
Hopefully that gives you everything you need to know to make some of your own. Have fun.
Thank you so much for watching.
