I liked it a lot that you gave the children the opportunity to help. Their self confidence grows and they can see what they have achieved. I would even suggest that every kid that helped can leave a handprint inside or outside the house. To show that they were helping

In Sweden we use straw from ray and those roofs last for 30 years and roofs from reeds last for 50 years. It's a nice little house.

You are mistaken Angella, you CAN call it a house. In the west, we call that a 'thatch' roof. Usually made from dries reeds/heavy marsh grass, just like yours. You can still see 'thatched' roof homes in Great Britain today. Very traditional and very good roofs. It's quite nice indeed. We would add a door (we get cold weather).
