12 to 200? Yowza. I mean, that seems like a super great range to cover; if I had this lens, I could replace three of my current lenses and make my bag that much smaller.

This lens is truly amazing Chad, I could get that extra reach to 200mm to photograph birds, and zoom out to 12mm to photograph some sceneries.

It works surprisingly well! But I still wish the lens comes with IS nevertheless.

The GX85 AF works well with the 12 200. The AF performed similarly to when other proper M43 lenses are attached to the camera.

why use the electronic curtain that does not cause less sharp images?

I want to prolong the shutter life of my camera. On average I took about 300-500 pictures per week nowadays. I don't see any reduction in sharpness when shooting with e-shutter, I did a little test the other days, sharpness looks identical with or without e-shutter.

You don't need adapter as Olympus 12-200mm f/3.5-6.3 is also Micro Four Thirds mount.

Hello, I have a Lumix DMC GX80. but when I use it with an Olympus lens the autofocus doesn't work.😢 What should I do to get the best out of the set? a hug from Portugal.

What Olympus lens is that? All my Olympus lenses AF works on the GX85, probably you accidentally switched the AF/MF button, depending on the lens. Best wishes!

Beautiful work. I've been using that combo and I wish I was getting your results. I photographed many flowers recently but I feel like I'm losing details, especially with the very colorful ones. The colors are too bright and the details get lost as a result. I'm thinking the problem is with my settings but I'm not sure.

Learn how to use your histogram. Learning the histogram was the biggest thing I've learned to take better pictures.

You could definitely adjust the exposure compensation if you are using aperture priority, shutter priority, or program mode. Or you could should manual, and adjust everything manually until you get the desired exposure that won't blow out the details on the flowers. Hopefully this helps!
