This was one of the best camp sites I have ever been to. Very lively and and lots of fun. The Happy wanderers campsite is just one hour south of Durban and was a blast. There were many fun activities to do here and I tried a new recipe and had a great morning watching the sunrise.

I agree its a beautiful place to camp. Unfortunately my family camped there at the far end towards the railway station and were almost robbed by thieves who would normally rob and escape by train. There was a security guard placed there who could do nothing but run away while these guys broke into one of those chalets with a old couple living there. The lady screamed for help while they were assaulting her. Fortunately some of my family members were outside the camp and they intervened and chased them away. The police were called and said this was happening frequently. Avoid camping towards the end.

Know this place very well. Used to visit that restaurant which made good food. Used to live in Umzinto but moved to Cape Town 24 years ago. Watched a few of your videos bro, seems to me that you have similar tastes as me. I love outdoor life. I don't know if you stayed at Eden Wilds on the Umtamvuna River in Port Edward. That is a nature lovers paradise.

@@SumeranGovender brings back memories mate, Esperanza, Beneva and Sezala. The place of sugar, my father, mother and sisters were sugar plantation workers. I wasn't allowed to do that being the youngest and only son. Through there grace I'm well off today.

@@SumeranGovender Sumeran, I am retired now and my profession is textile dyeing and still do it sometimes as a consultant. I live directly opposite the Bains Kloof Pass mountain range.Historically it was the first pass in South Africa. A 15 minute slow drive from where I live and you are on top of the mountain. You get a real scary gorge up there with a river running through it but the scenery is spectacular and there is a campsite. There are videos on KZfaq on it. It's really a beautiful place and I live right there.
