I spent the night at a little gem of a camping site down the south coast near Ramsgate called the Fairhills caravan park. it was an enjoyable experience, joined with some good food and a nice breakfast that I made by myself.

Hi Susan yes definitely try it, just don't burn the bacon too much like I did in my video. It must be crispy but not burnt. I left it on the stove for too long, it was a bit charred.

Hi Susan the roads are okay although when I went a few months ago there was some road works at Uvongo, not sure if they are finished with it. There is one toll booth around Port Shepstone on the N2.

Next time try cooking a roast chicken on a braai. Cooking a pizza on braai was brilliant and life changing. The world has been doing it wrong this whole time.

Another great video. You need to get a ground sheet little larger than your tent. Try makro they keep a larger array of camping supplies. Enjoy

I'll come join you next time I come to Durban. Cutting good in the non stick pan is a no no. Margate is green hey and beautiful. Heat and humidity in the summer makes it hectic. There are nice camping spots out there. Must check the websites of those magazine..

That tent will last you a long time provided you get a decent ground sheet and door matt. Chairs inside a tent also contribute to damage. Stretcher and mattress and you wont need to blow up your bed again.

The tears were caused from when I was closing the tent up not from the ground.
