Quite the warranty repair, machine fixed and some nice tools for the shop. Wish I got that type of service. Lol Awesome friends! One suggestion for those pins and machined surfaces that are exposed to the weather is a light coating of anti-seize. The anti-seize directly applied to the surface before greasing seems to reduce corrosion and rust for a much longer period of time. I actually have an F250 axle housing with the hub off, it's been apart for over 2 years with no rust, all wiped clean and just a fine coating on the axle threads and bearing surfaces with a plastic shield leaned against it to keep direct rain off, that's it. Just a thought.

I know that even though this is dated today this was done some time ago. I would have used brass washers between the cylinder and boom. I hope his action is repeated but if so there's a suggestion for you. MBTS just cracks me up. His interactions with you are highly comedic. Thank you for this and keep them coming.

First thing that came to mind on cleaning up that bore was a piston hone - the kind with 3 stones and spring arms. That would be perfect for that. Yes you have great friends that have many skills. Thanks guys for being there for Mr DP.

I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of maintenance on you equipment! I worked for a concrete contractor who did not repair anything just drove everything into the ground and when it was beyond repair would park it. He had TLB that the brakes went bad and wouldn't repair, I always got the job of driving it thru town to different job sites, got lots looks of terror when they saw a Dynahoe TLB rolling up behind them dragging the loader bucket to stop. They had Cat road grader that had pony motor to start it, the starter went out of the pony motor. They would hook up an old Dodge pick up to the front of the grader with a chain put the pick up in 1 st gear and the truck tires would spin hop out run back to the grader push the clutch in on the grader get it rolling with the truck drop the clutch on the grader grader would start and lower the blade to stop the truck. Hop out of the grader and run to the truck and push in the clutch disconnect the chain. But he did have a Mack dump truck and Mack tractor and they always ran!

That was a great video! Getting to be one of them there professional style vidja-ographers! lol. Had a story line , and acting and everything. Starring Jason works a little, and Todd doesn't work at all, and of course the man behind the scenes showing how good he is at working. Although there were some wrong distances in telling how far away he was to you. Since its only 480 miles from my house to Chicago, and 200 from my house to Philadelphia, Kinda hard to be 850 from Philly to Derby unless he gets lost often!...lol. Oh look! Squirrel!

After y'all line bored the arm, which direction did you put the bushings in? Grease groove out, but you need the clearance between the outer movement to be small enough that when greasing it actually goes into those two pin bushings. If not, as I wrote two weeks ago, just drill both sides, tap, and put in separate grease zerks. But, some of those pins were not ment to move, pressed in pin that does not move, that is why there were no bushings in the arms. That is why there are bushing in the cylinders to be greased. The only way grease would be inside the arm, was wear at the pin that allowed grease the bypass when greasing the cylinder bushing over the years. If it were meant to move there would be a zerk at those points on the arm. But if you don't drill this and tap it, it is going to happen again...stop that pin from moving in the arm..! If you continue to want to grease that pin in the arm, is it your intention to fill the entire arm with grease? Y'all know it is hollow, from the top to bottom right? That will take a lot of grease ..lol...
