Back to back fun days of surf. Unfortunately the forecast isn't good for the next couple days.

Yeah, Weber was at 4144 Lincoln Bl. , Venice back in the '60s. Tom Morey designed the original "Wonder Bolt" fin box, and Weber, Con, and Yater used the system. The removable fin was important to Weber's shipping business. Thanks, Brad !

I love that yellow VW bus! A hs friend from here in MA had an orange one when she moved to SoCal in the early ‘90s. Back in WeHo where I lived, a neighbor around the corner had a few of these. 1:59 One in particular always made me smile to see it b/c it had in big lowercase decal lettering across the back: “i can go slower!”😂

I don't know why but seeing that classic VW bus parked in the Porto lot makes me miss the old Beach Hut days. Remember that place? Oh man I'd love one of those teriyaki chicken bowls right about now... with a big squeeze of that sticky sauce

I miss the Beach Hut. The Yo Bo scrambled was my favorite. Hard offshore days you could smell Beach Hut cooking the grinds.
