@@WOLFGANG-BOZKURT ACtually in old norse (icelandic) and in Norwegian today the word Vik is where the water is still in a fjord or any water way, and it was when you attack others from these hidouts the word is original from, the strond winds and big waves in western norway also made the evolution of shipbuilding at 700-800AD reach a peak in technology.. So it was the fastest in the world at the time but still could carry many men.
