[Solved] How to Fix Samsung Galaxy Wifi Keeps Turning On and Off Automatically

Samsung wifi turning on and off - Video tutorial on I fixed mine samsung galaxy S6 Edge Plus Wifi issue. You will see my wifi kept turning off and on again and again automatically without touching the screen.
If you are unable to see Improve Accuracy button, then check out these places
Go to Settings, turn off the Wifi and there you will see Scanning settings link below, click on that you will see Improve accuracy buttons OR Go to Settings, then go to Wifi tab, you will see Improve accuracy link there

Some other workarounds to try:
1. Go to Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi - Advanced and make sure that Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep is set to Always.
2. Go to Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi - Advanced - Manage networks, tap on the problem network and then Forget. Reboot your phone and router, then set the connection up again from scratch.

Well unplugging it works for me, holding the power button on the remote down for the seconds also works for me, and resetting the TV also works, but no matter what I do everytime I turn the TV off and then back on again it won't connect to the internet and I have to do the unplug trick or the remote power button trick, or reset TV trick. Holding down the power button on the remote for three seconds after I return the TV on is the quickest option. Do you have any idea why the TV doesn't connect to WiFi when I turn it on?

The DES device (WiFi devices) are connected to 8RG (loading power system), that’s why the worst the WiFi is the slower the phone is, but getting a DESR (better WiFi device) really helped my WiFi and stopped it turning on and off, but I needed to change all my MSS (speed of the phone) to do it

I got S8+ now, and it asks me everytime if i want to switch to Wifi and GPS. To which i can say No. Is it automatically changing yours to WIFI and GPS without asking?

I had a Google account and a KZfaq account on my S3 and I tried sending a gmail and it screwed everything up to the point that I couldn't get Google nor KZfaq at all. I couldn't even log them out. So I reset my phone back to factory default and lost all my pictures and music but now, and created new accounts for Google and KZfaq but I am having trouble with WiFi turning off and on every couple of seconds or it bounces back and forth between two WiFi before turning off and the optimizers black screen flashes as it switches to the secondary WiFi that I hardly ever use. And also, half the time that go on Google, I get "this webpage cannot be displayed", along with the "unsecure website" pop up.

Hi Rajat, im from brazil, I have a same problem on my Galaxy S5 DUOS SM-G900MD, I use the kit kat 4.4.2, but I try to resolve with the system upgrade to 6.0.1, in kitkat, the acuracy option does not exist in Android 6.0 .1 exists, but the problem continues, do you have any idea to solve this problem? On 6.0.1 the wifi works but sometimes the wifi goes crazy for a while...

Hi Miguel, sorry i have no other solution as of now. Strangely my S8+ wifi is going weird these days, its not auto connecting to the wifi and keeps forgetting. I have to manually type in the password and connect every time. I am trying to look for a solution to that issue, it might solve your issue too.

RedPandaGamer_ if you have Verizon security, it may have added your wifi to a blocked list. If you remove it from the list, it should work as intended.

I hope I'm not speaking too soon but I think this solved my lost of wifi connectivity issues but I had to completely turn off the location service. So far, about 30 minutes later no issues yet. Thank you for your video.

If the fix does not work despite turning off the location search, try off turning automatic date & time AND automatic time zone and Restart the device....it worked for me...

Check this Go to Settings, turn off the Wifi and there you will see Scanning settings link below, click on that you will see Improve accuracy buttons OR Go to Settings, then go to Wifi tab, you will see Improve accuracy link there

Would this work on a S8+? Just handed the phone to Samsung techs and of course they said there was no issue. Haven't got it back yet though to check it out..

S8+ is facing the issue too? I have S8+ as well but everything works great yet. I would say, since your phone would be in warranty then get it replaced.

Rajat Gupta From what I understand, only some of the pre-ordered S8+ phones has this issue. Personally, the wifi seems to work normally at first but whenever there is traffic, it will start disconnecting and reconnecting. Also, the agent in my country would only replace the phone within the 1st 15 days of purchase. Sadly, when my mom first got it, she didn't notice because she always had her mobile data on ._.

That's odd, samsung usually carry one year warranty on their products. Do give them a call to check it out.

Okay! So I'm here with some updates. I was able to make a quick check on the phone's settings to see if it had the same issue mentioned here, but the wifi scanning was already turned off! After showing the agency guys the problem, they replaced the motherboard and now one of the SIM card slots won't make outgoing calls at all though it was fine before that.. So disappointing.. Look's like getting this phone wasn't really a good idea.. Thanks though!

I wont say that, i am really pleased with my S8+. Insist on getting a replacement from Samsung, just keep insisting. Samsung carry a year warranty on their products and after all these problems you should get a replacement. If they still dont agree, then tell them that you would reach out to consumer court, give bad reviews on facebook etc.
