Looking good i just did my fungicide coxtail it was time and we got some favorable conditions on the way. 3336, prop, 0-0-25 and sea k with a little bit of surfactant im really debating on trying the adjuvant.

Another great video!! You mentioned the propiconazole foaming up in your sprayer, on a whim i bought a bottle of Brandt Defoamer from a local horticulture store and it works wonders, game changer for me. And it is extremely inexpensive. Also, make sure to rinse off your ph pen with some water to prolong its life. Thanks again for all you do!!

The other day, I read about the Ornamec 170, which states that it should not be used on Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) since it belongs to the Poa family. I think that was the issue with the project loan. I never used my fungicides together before. I am going to try that the next time. Thanks for all the recommendations!

Perfect timing. I noticed some browning in my yard thought it was poa dying off in the heat but after closer look... It was disease. I applied diseaseEX on curative rate. I hope I treated it in time to recover. My question is, I was gonna put down flagship yesterday but instead I did diseaseEX, when can I apply flagship? Or should I postpone flagship and use stress blend?

I didn't say this, but NC State mentioned that adding a small amount of N is recommended to help assist the fungicide. I would go nuts, but I would add it and water it in anytime.

Since I have summer patch which is root borne fungus I don’t use a adjuvant. Needs to get down to root zone

I’m trying a 14 day application interval this year instead of 21 day. Low rates of Azoxy and Prop, and Cleary’s 3336 every 3rd application. Do we know if alternating in a 3rd group is necessary when apply Azoxy and Prop together? I don’t see it mentioned anywhere in the GCI lawn guide 🤔

I won't spray without the OSII and I'm using 3 oz of the two fungicide (together) spraying 22000 square foot. I have 1.5 acres, with a 4 gallon backpack spraying, filling it 2.5 times. OSII Natural adjuvant IS the truth. I have been using it for 3 years.

I have that same nozzle set up on my typhoon from Pete. I switched to the one that mimics the chem lawn gun because the blue one developed a weird pattern not sure if I lost pressure but it doesn't spray an even fan. It's kind of a fan in the center and on the outer sides it's more of Jets. Was curious if you have ran into that problem

I think I have seen that a little, but it's worked out ok for me. The Trim nozzle is definately my favorite, and the blue one here is my second fav. You can twist off those nozzles from the metal part and clean them. I have done that a time or two.

Quick Question: Would you use the adjuvant in place of Hydretain as the summer goes on, or would you just use the adjuvant for the mixes you apply and the Hydretain by itself? or could you apply Adjuvant and Hydretain together to help the grass through the summer months?

No. Not when using the adjuvant. If you don’t use adjuvant, if you are spraying to prevent, you water in. If you have fungus you let it sit on blades.

Those fungicides are systemic (not contact) as labeled on each bottle meaning they have to get taken up (upward movement) into the plant. They are designed to be watered in immediately after application, adjuvant or no adjuvant. It may work somewhat if not watered in but not to it's full effect.

Just reading the label rates on the Azoxy,: "Mix .38 or .77 oz per 2- 4 gallons of water in a backpack/pump sprayer and spray that evenly across 1,000 sq ft of lawn." The label rate for Propiconazole is: "Mix 2 oz per gallon of water in a backpack/pump sprayer and spray that evenly across 1,000 sq ft of lawn." When you are tank mixing them together, how much water are you using per 1,000 sq ft? Azoxy label suggests two gallons of water minimum per 1000 sq ft, whereas Propiconazole label suggests one gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. I would like to tank mix both products as well but I want to make sure my water to product ratio is appropriate without diluting one or the other.

It seems everyone kinda does their own thing honestly Ken. I would of course refer you to obey the label. As I've said, I've done it this way for a couple years now and not had a fungus issue. However, others have said they add more fungicides, others said they use lower rates. Also the factor of prevention app versus curative app plays a part in how much to use as well.
