Hey, I have seen other videos saying you need the 31.8mm direct mount. But I saw you got the 30mm. If I wanted to put renthal fat bars should I still get the 30mm?

Idk off the top of my head but 30mm is what you need for stock talaria and surron bars. If you get the fat bars I’d just verify their size

I see some people punch that star shape piece through the tube and put a locking piece all the way through the stem tube? Is that for none direct mount?

That’s the upgraded stem itself. Some people install a more rigid one but you don’t really need to. My bikes still pretty new so I didn’t need to do that as my headset still feels great!
