When awkward meets awkward. I thought their date was going to be a disaster, but it turned out to be one of the cutest, sweetest, endearing, most charming and wholesome dates ever! Albeit weird in a fringe way, but still an endearing connection of outsider innocences. I think they just laughed and enjoyed each other's unpredictable energies the entire night. We could all strive for something this oddly and unexpectedly perfect once in our lives.

@@joeh5538 There's no reason to be so nasty. Your comment is exactly what Rose was referring to--these days people are horribly cruel to each other on social media for fun because they can do it anonymously, and that casual, anonymous cruelty bleeds over into other areas of life. Before social media, people were more open and trusting in general, more willing to discuss and civilly disagree, whereas now they're very isolated by technology, stuck in their echo chambers, and lacking in social skills. That's not just my personal opinion; it's been shown in reams of social science research over the past 10-20 years.

Cheryl I was having a shitty night. I took the evening off work to play guitar and then something happened and I just wasn't in the mood. Tried watching numerous funny clips on youtube. Chris Farley didn't do it, neither did a shit load of other stuff. Then I see this title "funniest love connection ever". Didn't really laugh but watched the whole thing. Then I saw your comment. And I laughed my ass off. Thanks so much. Going to play guitar now.

This yutz is the glaring reason I actively sought out thirtysomething guys. Up to a certain age, young guys strut around trying to impress and attract women with their bravado but really succeed in driving us away. No woman ever wants to hear the number of women you claim you've slept with.....and we always KNOW that number is inflated by double, triple or more. We laugh about it later with our friends.
