All of them have reunification events and can reunify, just without content. If you view the events of every single nation you can enter a mode where you get decisions to declare war on the other warlords with the warlord you picked to play as, and if you reunite Russia you get an Easter egg reunification news event

My favorite Post-Regent state is the United Siberian Salvation Committee. Their entire story is “Russia has fallen to pieces three times now, so we’re jumping ship and asking the US if we can be their 51st state”. It gets better: on the extremely rare occasion they don’t get gamended by Magadan pirates, they STILL try to join the US after reuniting Russia! Not sure if it can actually happen though, the event just says it’s up to the whims of the President.

You can actually reunify Russia after Taboritsky's death. A battle royal would start in a few months, giving the player an opportunity to conquer all the land that once belonged to the Holy Russia as one of the now many warlords. It is not that fun, but I suppose you can still do that - reunification event may worth it.

The update is cool and all, but I miss the neat storytelling from different perspectives of the breakdown as it happened, like the soldiers gassing the forest or the one who was implied to have massacred his hometown without even realizing it. Was a lot more mindfucky.

Ever since this update, my save files in this mod get corrupted and don't work (Sometimes my country and Finland have no leaders, sometimes I can't assign my troops to any army, etc), but it probably has something to do with the game itself, because Cold War: Red Courtain doesn't work either. Does anybody have similiar problems or knows what's causing it/how to fix it?

Interesting! When I played Komi and went for the right (played as Gumilyov and his weird "Eurasianists", didn't really like that experience a whole lot); Zdanov was murdered by Svetlana Bukharina.
