The lore spans from 1914 to 2080, And the mod will too. The mod is different tho and i dont understand why. In the original lore, the UK and France are Syndicalists (like Socialism). World war 2 starts in the 1990s in this timeline

A good mod with an anime artstyle is remnants of apocalypse (it’s primarily in Chinese though, but has an ok english translation)

Here's my opinion on TNO: If you don't like it, 99% of the time it's because you should be playing TWR. TNO is a story mod. The main point is the story. The mod itself even says this, to not expect the normal hoi4 game but instead a story driven, politics simulator with war and economic aspects. If you dislike it, it's not that TNO is bad. It's that it's just not the kind of mod you should be playing. Now if you wanna say the writing is bad, that's just objectively wrong and I believe most people would back me there. While yes, some countries are complete snooze fests, others are amazing. In short, appreciate TNO for what it is, or understand that it's just not for you.
