English is just a language. It doesn’t necessarily measure the level of one’s intellect

But all courses are given in English, and this shows he has zero knowledge, still he is graduating 🎓 😳 . The educational system is a complete failure 😂😂
The interviewr himself is "dengaye erass." Once he found out the interviewee wasn't skilled in English, he chose to ridicule him in English to make himself look smarter. In reality, he simply made himself look denkoro.

It is normal because they did not know the system of teaching English language how to talk but the students are very intelligent that we know they have done so many history.

But on the other hand I am always so impressed about Eritran atlets. they are fluent when they speak English. Since Ethiopians are at the top in marathon i believe the sport federation should do more to better prepare its athletes in English language so they can better communicate during interview to their respective fans or those who enjoy marathon in general.

Don't make graduate students unworthy of being students. The ability of speaking a language isn't always necessarily can't be the measurement of one's intelligent/knowledge. Moreover, it's wise to decrease your great expectation from graduate students. 🎓 The world education system shouldn't only be the first and last way of learning a language!!!

Who said fluency is measurnment for smartness. This way of thinking is only in Ethiopia.
@user-xk2ec1es3k11 ай бұрын
Only in Ethiopia the measure of knowlede is determined by the ability to speak a foreigne language specially Engilish.If the country would have focused on teaching its kids with their own native languages rather than with languages that they have little fluency, we would have lots of scientists, engineers and intelctuals like the Chinese,Japanese and Koreans who chose to teach their kids in their own native languages.Our disfunctional education system which forces students to think and analyze knowledge and ideas in foreign languages, robes them a free and unrestricrted mind voyage which is very crucial for deep understanding and learning. That is way we see lot of people whom we think educated struggles to speak a foriegne language to immpress others and taken as Educated rather than acomplishing real knowledge objectives.
