@@jozsefbalogh636 Dogs are significantly less intelligent overall. They just seem more intelligent because they (probably) have higher social intelligence and are much more socially compatible with humans, due to co-evolution.

My cat Bartles' first visit was to have him fixed. When I picked him up he cried for 3 days. He hated the vet from that moment on. 20 years he never forgot.

When a male’s sausage and balls are removed, it’s not a happy moment. Yes? When a female gets a hysterectomy. Also not happy. Yes? Makes sense.

my cat died in March... he had polycystic kidney disease.. we took him to ivs every 2-3 days, restored iron in his blood, saved him from anemia, fed him with a minimum amount of protein, I regularly made him a liquid paste and fed him carefully from a syringe every 4 hours like a child.. but we lasted only 2 months from the moment he noticeably began to eat poorly... What I want to say is never be nervous around your pets, especially cats. They feel the tension, they may not understand the words, but they feel the tension. And they don't need it, they are already sick. They need to be surrounded by peace and calmness. I just remember how we drove our car and we swore in the car, the cat felt everything and also ran around the car.... I'm so ashamed of it .... he is gone and i cant find a place when i remember all of this.... forgive me, my child, i dont even know where are you now....

My old cat never liked the vets & she hated her carrier. But when we were there she would always try to get into her carrier. Go figure.😊😊😊😊😊

My cat has diabetes and gets "jabbed" twice a day. Takes it like a champ! And he gets treats after. ;)

You could stop feeding your cat poison instead of injecting insulin. I apologize in advance if your cat has type 1, but that's unlikely.

we just got our 3rd today, her great to the whatever power was our first; the first was six and was runover; was the most dog like cat, came when called , met me at the gate when i got home every day; the second we had for just short of 19 years; toilet trained as was the 1st, but cunning; sit in front of the shitter as you woke; get treats race to the water bowl and gulp, come back, piss and get treats; go into safe place carrier, you guessed it, get treats not all con men are human... this was a daily routine; and patience was pleasure to this little mobster... miss a step, hours later still waiting where you stopped the treats; cunning af oh, forgot to explain the 1st line; all 3 cats are same bloodline, this one cuddles; previous were princesses... we win by holding out this will be our last ; aged out DON'T FORGET TO SMACK YOUR KIDS, RIGHT AND WRONG ARE NOT GOV DECISIONS; OR WE WOULDN'T HAVE GOV, BECAUSE IT IS WRONG...

I used an Calico cap, she was 5 ibs, but mean. I was the only person she liked. I knew she was with the vet, because of the screens. Normally I was with her, so no problems, prepare for the screens.

ok where are the bits with the cats that turn into tasmanian devils at the vet? I have never had a cat that stayed as calm as these subjects, and only one in the last 20 years who didn't require "the big leather gloves" on the assistant. My current vet is strongly against the gloves (which I appreciate and agree with), but he makes ME hold my cat while he does his work. And that work is as brief and limited as possible, and cat usually jumps off the table repeatedly, hissing and spitting and yelling when I put him back on the table. It's freaking gruesome. I think I hate going to the vet even more than the cat does at this point!
