Okay. The best thing about this is the fact that the mascot in this one actually does look like a genuine mascot a company would use rather than something made to be scary and forced to look like a mascot. The design is peak and I am excited to see more from this.

I feel like what mascot horror really needs right now is a game where the mascot's just really freaking bad at their job. They're a genuine mascot in a genuine children's entertainment job. No evil ghosts, no corrupt machines, none of that. Just a mascot that keeps trying to play with the kid but keeps freaking them out instead because it's their first day on the job and they've got no idea what they're doing.

I thought Poppy Playtime did that too? I mean like Huggy, Kissy, Poppy, and Mommy aren't scary till they chase you. And even then that's after years of Anger. Catnap...hmm...he's scary simply because of the smile...so I suppose he's an outlier

@@DwarfDaddy ehhh not quite sure there? I mean the puppets all want to make friends but if I recall correctly they've all kind of given up on things. I think they still count as mascots with a dark past, especially the crazy ones in the basement.

I know the whole idea of "Mascot horror" is kind of overdone, but if handled correctly, you could make a great game out of it! This is an example.

A lot of mascot horror games at the moment. Lets see how it is done. It looks interesting and I like it with a child protagonist. Gives the game, in my eyes, more creepy feeling. A child that is chased is something different as a adult.

I like how Barney looks uncanny but still realistic to his current design. It’s a unique take I haven’t seen on indie horror games associated with childhood media. I like it! THIS LOOKS COOL BTW WHY HAVENT I HEARD OF THIS!?✨🔥

This one looks really good and that it has great atmosphere! The shots in this trailer also looked actually creepy because the rest of it was very immersive, not trying to be too realistic yet being believable enough. The voice acting on the kid character also sounded great and seems refreshing! It looks like a lot of care went into this and I hope it gets the attention it deserves.

oh yay! poppy playtime but barney. i mean hey, im actually all for it. anything to take the attention away from ban ban. Just please PLEASE put a good amount of effort into this game and be better than the mistakes of the past. You can succeed and not be known as "another poppy playtime" if you strive to be better and succeed.

As many games in the past and present have shown: Even if you do something that treads familiar grounds, if it does it in a way that is unique it can be groundbreaking. Like how silent hill took the horror idea and used the limits of the console as an advantage, how resident evil restricted your movement by trapping you inside a building to reduce loading, but also limited your supply so you sometimes had to run past enemies instead of killing them. Even fnaf took the idea of a survival horror and stuck you to a chair to watch cameras, which was improved (just my opinion) with Observation Duty with what it could do. Even that new Zoo-based horror coming out took the idea of horror by expanding on an innocent creature warping into a monster from "Siren: Blood Curse" , "Dead Space" and again "Silent Hill". I can see this game being amazing by treating that whole "bendy/banban" enviroment but from the eyes of a child. Kinda FNAF:SB but with more focus on child-like fear than killer robots. I can't wait to see more!

Dude, Funset Studios could either be the next Garten of Banban if it’s too bright, or the next Poppy Playtime if it’s dark and bloody, or, if pro enough, Five Nights at Freddy’s if bright AND dark at the same time (+has some really great lore).

One of these days i hope someone turns the mascot horror world on it's head by making a game series genuinely for children with no horror, an extensive series with lots of heart and fun with mascots and characters that you own and can market to a child audience. You can bring the series to a close after a few years with a geunine finale, then a decade after the series ends and those kids are now teenagers or adults you can finally make something like this. you'd be playing the most incredible waiting game ever concieved, you'd have an audience that genuinely grew up with these characters and a game made by the original developer making it a canon continuation of the series.

Imma say it, this gives off Poppy Playtime vibes, with My Friendly Neighborhood looking story, and as far as I can tell Garten of BanBan gameplay. I may say this but I am indeed looking forward to the full release
