"Nobody Knows What It's Like To Be Lonely"
Written by Nikki Sixx, recorded by Motley March-April, 1981.
Also Motley's longest recorded song 1981-1991.

I screwed up and uploaded the one at the wrong speed, a little too slow here. A more accurate version can be found by fans who try to find it. In this age of easy access, who cares, wins.

What I'm blown away by is Tommy Lee. He was what 18, 19 years old? He's not over playing, he's playing for the song but, he's already got his signature style carved out. He's already playing and writing his drum lines with a maturity years beyond his age. Wow.

Fun fact! Tommy’s sister mentioned in a interview that as soon as his parents got him drums as a present it was impossible to get him off of them. He would play like 24 hours a day. They would force him to stop and go eat dinner. I think that’s what got him his signature style so early on! He is just such an ambitious great drummer. Such a lovely story

This is the correct speed - or at least the official release. It was first released in 2000 as a bonus feature on the dvd "lewd crued and tattooed" - and a live version (without the drums at the ending) had been available before that on the bootleg of their first show (April 81 at the Starwood) - it's a slow jam for sure.

The tracks were already recorded in March with first vocalist Odean. VINCE joined April 1st and spent first few days recording his new vocals over Odean's. Who do you jokers think you are?
