I received an invitation to join an upcoming Furby-themed art show, organized by Toys On Tap and hosted at Toy de Jour. To kickstart my project, I was given an old McDonald's Furby as my creative canvas. While sifting through my collection of toys, I stumbled upon a Jabba the Hutt figurine I had found at the thrift store some time ago. In that moment, it became evident that this discovery was the ideal catalyst for a one-of-a-kind toy fusion. With that, I began the transformation, sculpting and painting elements until, in no time, I had brought to life what I affectionately call "Furby the Hutt." As a finishing touch, I created a bespoke throne to add a touch of refinement to this whimsical creation.

Dave, I have to say that Furbies I always thought were a little creepy, but this came out super cool and a little creepy, and I totally love it. Such a cool idea for a figure or kit bash. It just went together so well. Great idea for the show. 👍👍👍

That turned out just freakin’ outstanding!!! Looks like the Furby has a lit of really cool options for customization with the way it’s constructed, I don’t have any of those but it definitely gives me bad ideas for weird little creatures! Haha!

The color needs to be frog green or at least some bright primary color. Think reptile or dinosaur. The paint job you've done is perfect, just too dull for a reptile. Your transition sculpts are fantastic. The eyes need to be open a tad more Just my taste, everyone is different. It's pretty neat overall.

I made it.😃 Fun fact Zero was found in 1996 and Toy Story came out in 1995. Someone brought this up a while ago so I checked it out and found it interesting. Either way I love the logo.😂
