Hey Travellers!
This week in Article 24 of the Interact Post, we talk about the upcoming characters on the 4.7 banners. One side is heavily DPS-stacked with another Bond of Life character and one of Genshin's already best DPS characters, Alhaitham. The other half has none other than one of Genshin's best supports, Furina, and a new but highly anticipated Sigewinne realease!

Venti got powercrept so hard by kazuha so i wouldnt be surprised if raiden gets powercrept too :(

venti got powercrept by content, venti is still as good as long as the content is ventiable. Kazuha was the powercreep to sucrose and he's not really one to her.

Venti was the first unit they made before they knew what they were doing, Klee is powercrept as well, most of the Mondstadt units are not worth mentioning. Albedo, Mona, Diluc none of these units rank anywhere near top units.

Imo, Kazuha doesn't overpower him just has better functionality as a character.

Dude don’t feel bad, those “protect the monolith” chambers for Abyss are steamrolled by Venti. I have both of Kazuha and him and I still use him for multi wave mobs in Abyss. :)

@@ashy969 Better functionality IS literally overpowering...it's just...not in the literal sense. Like, if you think about team comps, you're most likely never gonna use venti again instead of Kazuha. If you're running anemo on both Abyss teams, probably will drop Venti in there but then Sucrose still is viable/as good as venti in terms of team-assistance and damage enabling.

I agree with how useful raiden is shes definitely gonna be more useful support vise, but powercreep is real and since raiden was before dendro, her kit wasn't really designed around it, and since clorindes kit is, im more or less sure that she'll definitely do a lot more damage :>

Damagewise, Raiden might be powercrept or just on par with Clorinde, but Clorinde will surely provide other team comp to play her as on-field eletro dps role. Will she be good with dendro as aggravate or quickbloom? we'll have to wait and see

Doubt she will have the burst damage Raiden has and how easy it is to pull off. 500k+ bursts every rotation with minimal set up and then the follow up attacks which can hit up to 100k’s. My Raiden is C3 though. Raiden also works for pretty much every team (except vaporize and melt). She also has insane support abilities like permanent electro application, energy recharge is no longer an issue for any team she is on.

Clorindes kit doesnt seem to be designed around dendro. Dendro reactions are probably her best reaction types but thats because they are the generally the best electro reactions damage wise. I'm hoping to play Clorinde with chevreuse (hopium for chevreuse on her banner)

@@Rawzix"500k minimal set up" my guy C6 Sara, Bennett, and Kazuha isnt what I or anyone else will call a "minimal" set up. My Raiden is c0r1 with a 0.4% build, and imo if Clorinde has even like 80-85% of Arlecchino's or Neuv's carry potential, then shell definitely be better than Raiden as a carry at C0. Though Raiden still has her strengths as a battery in teams like Yelan/Furina duo or Rational, and can even be an optimal HB trigger, so shell still have her place in the meta at least.

On your comment of us being able to beat all the harbingers we actually haven’t, not alone at least. Even scaramouche the traveller needed nahida and a bunch of loops and the aid of everyone’s wisdom to beat him. A lot of these bosses the traveller needed other help. Raiden needed miko and the other vision wielders, the narwhal needed neuvillette and Skirk. The traveller is not as strong as people think they are

Good point. I think the lore is supposed to be that Traveler cannot really beat an archon or high-rank Harbinger. Yes, Traveler beat Signora (Raiden got the kill), and Tartaglia (who is technically the weakest Harbinger) and Scaramouche (with lots of help), but I think the Harbingers and Archons (and dragons) are supposed to be beyond the Traveler's abilities. I guess technically Traveler could beat Venti with a sucker-punch...

I will wish for Alhaitham because of his insane interaction with Xianyun. I love plunging and he can make it that Alhaitham gets to use more of his mirrors! And as a fellow autist I would love to have him xD

Dps characters in Genshin is more of a luxury. Furina is by far the most important unit on those banners the others are honestly not close. Good built supports do more damage than a hyper carry at mid investment. It's only when you start vertically spending on a hyper carry that they can outshine. When I say Vertical I mean 5 star weapon, 250 crit ratio with some cons. Very few people get to that point. Prioritize your supports people you will thank me later. These units are so far in Genshin Miko, Yelan, Furina, Kazuha Nahida, Zhongli. Can you play without them sure you can, but it's so much more comfortable having them.

Yeah always prioritise support i think the only dps that should you get is Neuvillette because he's easy to use especially for new players

The thing is, people don't say this important thing. Liking a character for their story and lore is not the same as liking the character for their kit design, damage and team comps.

I'm a weirdo and want sigewinne. I have furina and alhaitham and even though constellations would be great to get, sigewinne is so freaking cute! What I would love to see change in her kit though, is more hydro application and for her bond of life orbs to be picked up by anyone. I want her to basically make everyone able to use the new artifact set.

Althaitham called Dendro Keqing ending up Dendro Childe cool down elemental infusion advantage, his dendro damage default just Atk scaling despite with EM only Skill or burst reliant advantage. Furina best f2p players if have elemental dps characters with their each elemental own like Ayaka and Navia first or Ganyu and Wriothesley first

pull for husbando over meta. Genshin doesn't have crazy power creep and even the hardest content can be cleared by 4 stars. pull what you love, not what is meta

Im gonna go pulling for Alhaitham since hes only the dendro DPS atm plus bloom, hyperbloom and burgeon are still meta in the game and burning is rising up in the meta as well so yeah Alhaitham is still a good character to pull for.

I decimate enemies with alhaitham, build him right and you will have such a fun time with him. (I run him with iron sting and it’s more than ample but plan to pull for his weapon for completion) Also, sexy dendro daddy 😂 it’s a win win

Alhaitham is fine as long as you have Nahida, you don't need to worry, those people don't know what they're talkign about.

i came back to genshin after a year break when navia dropped. so i missed furina,neuv and alhethem. just got neuv in his rerun and arlecino because i got bored of hu tao and ayato seemed weak now adays. so i have geo,pyro and hydro covered. I will get furina but i wonder if alhtheim or clorina is worth a grab too, probably dont need more dps tbh but hey

I have not pulled beizhu but now im gonna save the guaranteed foor alhaitam i like him the most in the game i just started a few weeks ago i really wanted beizhu for with my alhaitam but at the same time i don’t wanna use the guaranteed on him

"Raiden is an archon" yes, Venti is also an archon and Kazuha displaced him in most if not all combos.

Apparently Sigewinne has way less Hydro application than Kokomi. Kokomi is a pretty competent healer and off-field Hydro applicator.

Next patch will be crazy for me because I’ve just been saving since Navia banner. Definitely getting clorinde and the weapon banner for me is a win / win because I have alhaitham but I run him on jade cutter currently so if I miss clorinde’s weapon it won’t be too bad. I think I will wait on the weapon because I have mistsplitter on keqing and I also have r3 black sword on no one which I thought the healing self passive may have some interesting effects with her bond of life mechanic. As for the next set of banners, we’ll have to see how sigewinne works because I want her to be good in nilou bloom, but I might just be coping at this point.

Don't recommend that Alhaitham has a very high base damage, it means he does a lot of damage with very little investment. Try him out first at level 90 with maxed talents takes some time to learn his rotation optimally there are guides for how to do it. Furina c2 is a much more worth investment if you need cons.

I'm expecting more power-creep out of Clorinde and Sigewinne - specifically Cyno (maybe Raiden) and Kokomi. I expect it because basically everyone is getting power-crept in Fontaine except Kazuha and Dendro (so far). Chiori is better Albedo. Navia is better Noelle/Itto. Neuvillette is better Ayato/Tartaglia. Furina is better Bennett (and Xingqiu). Wriothesley did not exactly power-creep Ayaka, but he's more consistent than her. Arlecchino powercrept all pyro DPSs. Lyney also arguably power-crept pyro DPSs and charged bow characters... I think I've made my point. It just wouldn't surprise me if Clorinde and Sigewinne were over-tuned versions of Cyno and Kokomi.

Clorinde will out damage c0 raiden definitely but raiden is not an aggravate character so she is fine But she will out damage keqing 😬

It will be interesting to see for sure. Clorinde does not double scale into atk and em but only atk, but maybe aggravate will be better than we think. Either way, she looks really fun and hopefully she'll be strong regardless. Thanks for watching!

Chlorinde and furina shouldve run together, its better for hoyo cuz they're both very anticipated characters. Plus if they put chevreuse and sethos, it'll be one of the best "new chcaracter" banner imo
