You seem to miss the point that mistakes happen if the ball keeps ending up in the United box. Liverpool make mistakes city and arsenal its just we allow the opposition in the box constantly. Exactly mate. ETH has made mistakes tactically (despite the endless injuries etc) but in 80-90% of our defeats, he led us to winning positions and our team couldn't see the game out. Copenhagen, Galatasaray, Chelsea, Coventry, Burnley... So many examples. Managers task is to bring the players into the final 3rd. You can suggest what the players must do and when they shoot but you can't coach shooting technique and decision making.

We are also giving enough chances for relegation tier teams to score just as many. Nothing to do with the manager and his tactics ?
