Happy belated Birthday! The first & only time I purchased a Furls hook (was my bday present to me, as well 🎉) It was the clear resin with glitter one. Well it came with a very small chip in the head. Did not notice it until I tried crocheting with it. It would snag on any type yarn I used. After intense examination I saw the little culprit. I was so disappointed. But customer service was great. After a few emails they replaced the hook (at no charge to me). I’ve never purchased from them again. Good luck & have fun with yours! 🧶

The one time I saved money up to buy a streamline swirl (Cafe, I think) I ordered it at Christmas for my present, and my husband and I were so excited. Well, long story short, it looked absolutely NOTHING like the ones pictured. The resin was solid brown and solid white, no depth or waves in the resin at all. My size stamp was completely crooked too, but I paid full price. I decided that I'd never buy from them again - that experience made me cry because we were very poor and we finally spent the money for me to have a "luxury" hook. Terrible. Then a few months later, Furls released their "pride" collection. 🙄 Now I will never purchase from them, even if my life depended on it. Furls is always hyped up by people, but their hooks aren't that great and their website only has "testimonies" not actual reviews, and they don't allow bad reviews to be posted on their site - you send them in and they decide what to put on the site for people to see. It's disgusting.

Happy birthday!! I tried to like furls, the first one I bought was a metal one, it was so heavy. Nope Went back and bought a wood one. It was so small, like 2 sizes down from what I thought I would get. I found a bunch on Amazon that looked just like a furl bought several of them for a fraction of the cost of a furl. I didn't like that there was no thumb rest, and I would just rotate it around in my hand. I hope you have better luck than I did. I'll just stick with my clover amour set.

I mostly shop at Physical stores, so I really don’t know where to look online, but those are gorgeous! Do you have an affiliate link for those hooks? I’ve already clicked around on the other youtuber’s link and I’m so excited about all the cool stuff!! My wallet less excited, but my birthday is around the corner, so I’m using your excuse😂
