Furness Railway Company 1846 | Cumbria Archives History Day
📜 The Furness Railway Company was established in 1846 to bring iron ore and slate to the small village of Barrow to be shipped out. Geoff Holme is a local historian with a vast knowledge of the railways of the Furness area and in this video he talks about the growth of the railway in the Furness area.
