I had a marble worktop installed in April and been very happy with it. There is SO much choice when it comes to the veining; colours, intensity etc. You could easily source one that was mainly white - giving you the light you’re after, that featured a combination of sandy/gold and grey/silver veining that would tie to the existing colour of your cabinets 😊. Happy Christmas 🎄

Light grey cupboards would look very good and modern and would match perfectly with a marble worktop!!

Loving the apartment Alex looks very homely and relaxing. I agree the kitchen unites being lighter will make it feel bigger. we put light coloured granite worktops in to replace black ones from when we bought the house. Pricey as they were like marble but a great investment. So easy to keep clean. The outside space is fab. Merry Christmas to both you & Ellie XX

With your accessories...white with grey flecks would be good. The mirrored suggestion at points is a good idea. They grey would tie into the air flow grills across the top. You could put slithers on the island in a horizontal panel rather than changing the whole colour. Of course though..The beautiful bins (great choice they are worth the money) will of course be the wrong colour then. Doh!🤫❄☃️ My best advice is live in it for a while to see what would work best. Maybe go for a really pale wood on the dark wood wall and then lighter cream or white units on the sink wall. You could also go for a mirrored splash back behind the sink which would give another dimension to the space as well as reflecting light. I don't think those stools add to the kitchen at all, as the island is mainly taken up with the huge induction hob and extractor, so I would lose them because the table is so close anyway. You could also put a mirrored panel under the island, where the stools are currently, which would make the worktop look like it was floating and would give a greater sense of space particularly if you are losing the stools. I would have gone for a lighter coloured dining table personally. Love the bin! Flat is looking so homely now with that comfy sofa and snuggly rug. Also love your festive tree.

Love the apartment of what you done, maybe get lighter worktop and the dark wood change to lighter maybe white if you get white marble work tops and keep the green cupboard would balance thr darkness x

I suggest doing work top and wood first, and than look at it with the cubboard door fronts. - otherwise might end up with a very clinical kitchen which will suck life out of the house - in terms of colour - as you have bright furniture and don’t want that room not fitting with rest of the flat

The place looks lovely, really lovely. I would suggest a lighter colour kitchen and dining table to match the light and calmness of your lounge area. The dark doesn’t seem to go very well. Also, mental health wise; I find too much dark decor affects my mood. I’m not sure if there’s a legitimate reason for that? I honestly think at this time of year we’re household bills are rising people have lost their jobs and are struggling to put food on the table,then you come on crying about a perfectly good kitchen you don’t like going on about a ridiculous amount of money for your taps amongst other things,then at the end of the video you spend 40 seconds talking about mental health etc,life isn’t all about money and marketing yourself some people can’t afford the price of a box of matches and your going on about a candle maybe you should take stock of what’s going on around you.
