@@yunglex2172 I don't know who "people" is, this is the first time I am saying this. Also your comment implies that lab was never good, even though it was literally tier 1 pre phni format.

@8:45 i love this, or that Ishizu Tear could play with Kelbel/Orange/Havnis and later Kash Tear during turn 0. More decks should be like that and Lab. My only issue with Tear was there wasn't at least 1 (preferably 2-3) more deck at an equal level while for Lab they need to remove some turn skips (that would even make Rollback healthier). I believe it's the best way to counter the power of going first, with hitting generic Extra Deck omni-negates being a close second.

Yeah people don’t understand if this is a trap or midrange deck this is healthy for the game. Trap decks having to board break going second is ass you might as well just set up your own negates or otks… the whole point of a trap deck is to set up “traps” for people to fall into. This was remedied by hand traps and now even more so, most of the labrynth cards.

Games 2 and 3 are why I wish Glitch into Chaos Hunter wasn't so gimmicky. With the exception of Evenly, it checks all Lab counters not named Ash/Belle like CBTG/Crow/Cosmic and mainly SP while you are free to tRollback/BigW unlike with Imperial Iron Wall.

I was about to comment on this. In addition, using Anguish to link away Guardian is NOT considered "leaves the field by a card effect" because it's a game mechanic (link summon) so it wouldn't trigger. On the other hand cards Mirrorjade for example are worded in a different way

5:04 If you activate the set card after targeting it with sharvara you will not be able to SS sharvara. the card has to remain face down to be destroyed in order to summon

nah it can be chained and it’ll still pop , it doenst say “that target” or anything indicating that it needs to stay set
