This is all looking great! I would highly recommend for the leg to pad out the leg on either side of the upper thigh and the hock/lower leg portion of your leg mannequin. If you don't, your shape is going to look like a pancake sticking out of your leg. I had the same problem with my first suit and it didn't blend well with my body piece. I made some small pillows for the thighs/hocks out of cheap cotton and stuffing from Joanns. Works out well and easier to clean. Followed you on insta as well ^^

I do make fullsuit right now, and i prefer polyfill! Its just seems more lighter and rounder than carve foam :3

The noise the sewing machine is making is from the motor starting, and I'm not really sure how you could keep it from doing that since its the sound of electrical resistance and is caused by the way motors work.

I know this was ages ago, but you should really buy some cheap muslin fabric to test your patterns with. It's like $25 for 7 square meters, so you can try things and make adjustments before using your more expensive fabrics.
