@@TheGreatNon Apparently it's because Sukuna recognized how much potential Megumi has. He could at least cause minimal damage to 3-finger Sukuna, who was leagues above the finger bearer curse. If Megumi believed more in himself, he could have exorcised it, as later shown in his 1v1 against another finger bearer, when he used his Domain Expansion. Basically, if Megumi fought the finger bearer curse like he fought Sukuna, he would have won. Sukuna doesn't understand why Megumi didn't try it. Not only because doubting yourself is a completely foreign feeling to him, but also because when Megumi was faced with a much stronger opponent, Sukuna, he stood his ground. Even though in both cases it was his, and his friends' lives on the line.

SPOILER (manga topic) 2:59 Sukuna: "it's a adaptable too" dang Gege at this moment foreshadowed Mahoraga. Sukuna had an interest at Ten Shadows due to even the normal shikigami shadows having adaptability each summon. Which is why Mahoraga the one with the most broken adaptability technique caught Sukuna's interest even more. The adaptability would show Sukuna how to defeat Gojo's infinity and Sukuna developed his slashes into world cutting slashes. Sukuna is insanely clever. Gojo kinda underestimated Mahoraga.

Nah, Gojo overestimated mahoraga, all the time he was worried about him adapting all the time but in the end sukuna didn't need the mahoraga to fully adapt, he just needed a headstart.

@@syntheovaldy5173 Can't claim that's unfair since sukuna was using the 10 shadows tech, it's the Technique to summon things, the whole point is to have summons to help you in combat, so it was a 1v1. The thing about mahoraga is that he was slowly but surely adapting, and gojo was aware and worried about it, he thought mahoraga was the biggest problem since once adapted he would be screwed even if he was slow at it, what he didn't thought was that sukuna could himself adapt to the infinity as long he had a start point and never needed fully adapted mahoraga for it, but without the insight from the mahoraga i'd say sukuna wouldn't adapt his slash as fast and would have probably kicked the bucket. TL:DR It was fair and square, gojo just underestimated the king of curses.

@@syntheovaldy5173 When he is in control of Megumi's body for all intents and purposes it's his ability now, it's the same deal for Kenjaku and Geto If he could beat gojo in itadori's body? Impossible, itadori's body is a cage for him, he would be gimped by default and rolled by gojo. Having the 10 shadows tech was a bonus for sukuna, he just wanted a vessel that wasn't actively screwing with him.

Honestly Season 2 looked amazing and perfect for "Blue Spring Days" but once we ve entered Shibuya although I love the glow outlines they did with Choso v Yuuji, I cant say Im liking the animation as much as I did season 1 when it comes to storyboarding not being Park or the colors being to bright and not as dark shaded and detailed as season 1. I feel if MAPPAs animators werent having so many issues rn, we would have gotten better quality similar to the first season 2 5 epsiodes if not better. Its such a damn shame and travesty theres nothing wecan do but watch the animation deteriorate epsiode after epsiode only that have a handle of them actually being stellar

@@kinisiko Sukuna couldn't kill Mahoraga at all with his domain. He used the domain to delay/disrupt Mahoraga, and used Fuga to actually make the kill. Nothing indicates Sukuna could have used Fuga at this level of fingers, so it would be GG as he runs out of attacks to use.

Sukuna wasn't even aware of the Ten shadows technique's existence until he met Megumi.If he was aware ,then Sukuna should have known that Megumi's shikigami are created from shadows and Sukuna had to figure Mahoraga's ability which means he didn't have any information on Mahoraga before battling it.
