The game is BS, sometimes my defending is unreal and sometimes I cant even stop a defender dribbling past me, its up to the game.

You have to buy a very good monitor …144hz refresh rate 1ms ,and hi resolution of course … that will fix your problem … you have to spent over 250 for a monitor or close to that number.That helped me a lot because I had the same problem so that’s my advise. Also you need a good internet connection

Tou totally right bro, sometimes I feel I mastered to the highest level and sometimes I feel like a totally beginner player, and I get it, there's is a lot of players who can move the ball real quick but you defending technique shouldn't fail you. It's up to the game. They decide if you're game goes fast or slow.

It's impossible to defend in this year's game, it's just discouraging Any small wrong move and you get a goal, a goalkeeper who doesn't know how to jump or catch the ball, and players who just stand without moving or helping the defenders to protect the goal FIFA should solve this in the next update of the game, we can't play like this

Thank god I’m not the only one feeling like this. I know I’m bad but not this bad. I feel like some games my players feel like they’re playing like they should and other games they feel like they’re just standing there like they’ve never played football in their lives or they have 90+ dribbling and pace yet get caught/locked down by players with 70 pace. But I feel like it’s a server issue because its not every game. Like gatusso said “sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit”

I’ve always been bad a defending but this year is different the amount of cutbacks and people running through my defence is insane first year were I’ve fully gave up on fifa and I’ve playing it and I’ve been playing since fifa 12

wow...i used to look forward to dylans brief daily vids, gotta say hes consistent with his messaging, the left stick light touch, back off to pounce and zigzag whilst defending have been his mantra for years ...his channel somehow fell off my algorithm and i forgot his name...im gunna check in to see how hes got on with eafc

I just started playing ultimate teams and I have almost launched my PS5 out the window many times. Defending and tackling seems almost impossible when I'm trying it but my opponents are all over it. My players also regularly pass the ball to a player I did not aim at and cause the ball to be lost.

Friend just a tip to add to your videos. When the video starts can you just quickly mention what button settings you are using for your controller. Some of us use r1 for Sprint some use r2 Some use l2 for jockey some use r2

Everytime I defend my defenders either fall give a super slow and weak tackle and they reach for the ball 5 seconds late or when I switch players they lag and switches to the wrong one and everyone just watches the players run to the box and score. Does anyone els have this problem ???? I miss the old fifa. Everything in this game is so lagged

Defending is the one thing I have always been good at I have always been in division 2 or 1 in fifa I’m not that bad or good but ik that I can defend I don’t even use the AI but I just got the game likr 2 weeks ago and it’s hell defending and it seems everyone has insane teams for this time of the year

The clips in this video show exactly how much FIFA sucks year by year and has reached a new high. Look at the CDMs, the striker is literally 1 meter away and they just stand there and do nothing! And the whole manoeuvre in the 18 yard box and CB circling around to stay put but never really defend looks so stupid. This game is getting further and further away from real football.

Can this be shown on career mode? Defending against the AI is totally different than playing against people online. In 5 seasons of career mode ive had only about 10 clean sheets. Ive tried all the techniques , tactics and formations and it does not work at all. The AI always dances past you one way or another 😫its completely unplayable and has been since day one

I swear defending gets harder every year. This year you can't even properly steal the ball without your defender immediatly losing the ball again. Unless you play proffesional or lower

It's so the little kids who spend there parents money on UT don't get bored with low score games, they have to make defending 100% scripted, you can be manually perfectly positioned for an interception and the ball will still somehow roll past you

It has to be hitting R2 when you're jockeying. That's what I do out of muscle memory from FIFA 23 but L2 + R2 this year just sends the jockey to outer space!

what is this stupidity with the defence that you cant press any button to go to the player and push him? i dont say i am a legend in fifa but this is too much.i can score easily but enemy teams give me 4-5-6 goals and i even dont know how to defend and mark player. My player just runs like stupid to any direction.

Game is absolutely awful it's been turned into a 1v1 simulator all these defensive tips are good until someone just holds R1 and walks past you as your players stand by and watch and ur goalkeeper falls down,if you even slightly go the wrong way your defender is 10x slower than any attacker and will not recover oh unless you don't control him he'll turn quicker and move straight back into position , the best way to defend in this game is to not defend how is that even normal for these kids playing nowadays

This is just a bigginers guide about the most basic fundementals of defending. Why put "defend like a pro" if you're just gonna mention stuff that 95% of the player base already knows. This isn't helping anyone to "defend like a pro" it is just helping very new and inexperienced players.
