At least 24 teams should have been happened in 2024 t20 wc. I don't know why ICC not focusing on increasing teams. If 24 then Jersey, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan. They could also get a chance to play the upcoming t20 wc.

Some criteria must be relax if ICC really wants to spread worldwide. Make Scotland and Netherlands full member.

People are talking about them getting full membership also including Netherlands and Nepal. But point of fact is ZIM , IRE and AFG being full members are treated as associate nations. New teams aren't able to improve the competition. Bangladesh in 2024 will be marking their 25 years , still they are average instead of top competitive team. Getting more full members will create an initial enthusiasm but for long term I doubt they will be able to add something new. Also it will cramp the international calendar with 3 formats plus many private leagues.

14:53 exactly bro, ICC will only give full membership if they only want to. Country's Population and region also matters. Take Kenya for example, They should have been the 11th Test Playing Nation long ago but what did the ICC do? Nothing, they declined and now see where Kenya is 💔 I also read somewhere that ICC president in 2005 said to kenya board that they didn't have 100 Million people. I can assure you that if Nepal somewhat plays decently and qualifies for WCs here and there with some victories against FMs then you will see Nepal getting the test status very early. The reason is their location, population and the market that the ICC can get. Same goes for Bangladesh in 2000 and i am from Bangladesh also and i admit that we got test status too early. But i also do think Scotland will get it since they are in the UK and can bring more rivarly to England in UK and hence more eyeballs and income. Lets hope for the best ❤

My Favorite Indian team ended at 2013( when super dirty politics started in the Indian team with so many legendary Indian players by throwing them out of the Indian team and forcing them retire). By the way now I want Scotland to do well in the ICC men's cricket T20 world cup 2024 in India, But for that ICC have to give Netherlands at least some T20 series against other Nations(playing in that World Cup).. so that Scotland can have a good practice before going to a very big tournament like ICC Cricket T20 World Cup. & Now Their ODI ranking is super improved,now they are at 12..
