Best damn band today. Lead singer just nails it on-stage with presence and emotion. And who can forget their performance on Letterman? Certainly not David Letterman. I love seeing these Carolina boys from the Coastal Plains doing good and I wish them much success in the future. I was born and raised in Sampson County and my grandpa was a professor at ECU. "Long Flight" would always calm me down after convoy missions when I was deployed to the Middle East long ago. When I came back from the desert I loaded up the MP3 player with Future Islands and rode the entire Tran-American Trail on a motorcycle listening to them and getting my head straight after almost 20 years of living and working overseas with the Army. Every time I ride my motorcycle through the Kansas City Metro, one of their songs is playing through my in-ear monitors. It's the perfect music for the perfect ride. You fellas keep singing and I'll keep enjoying it. Stay safe and sane out there in the madness that is today's modern music industry.

So…Here I am, watching a future islands show that I’ve never seen, and seeing it for free. 1000th show….Even better reason to say thank you for uploading. The sound is absolute perfection.

This band with be remembered forever as having one of the best frontmen ever. The way ge connevets whth everyone in the audience is amazing.
