They are inviting CEC draws under general category. So if you score is on the cuff off points they will invite you under cec draws. Or else no. It’s a system generated ita is issued. The government sets the lowest cut off score and the system issued ita who meets the cut off score and above. The real pr happens once you submit all your documents after ita and then the immigration officer checks your file and decide or no to give you permanent residency or not. If people can’t meet the cut off score according to the category there is no way ircc and it’s system will issue any invitation to apply. It’s the software that issues the invitation not people. So we must try to increase our crs score with the things that we can do which will improve our points.

Hi Sir, I started my work on March 6th 2023, received my 1st paycheck on March 15th, and worked 40 hours/week. I was laid off and my last day was February 15th 2024 and my last paycheck was February 15th 2024. Have I completed 1 year according to IRCC rules? and should I apply for an Express entry profile and say that I have 1 year of experience.

Hey everyone i need some suggestion. i will be completing my 1 year experience as CEC (EE) applicant soon. my 1st paycheck was from [29 April 2023- 12 May 2023] however my first day performing job was [1 May 2023] . And I will be completing 1560 hour at 27th paycheck [27 April 2024 - 10 May 2024]. on [29 April 2024] to be exact. I want to create my express entry profile as soon as I hit April month 2024. because we will be having category based draw i first week of April. my question is can i go and create profile say my experience from April 2023 to April 2024. or i have to mention may 2023 as start day. and may 2024 to complete year.

Create with May, you’ll get 1 yr points in April only. However, if you get ITA, don’t submit final file until you complete 1 yr as per the calculation

@@SahilSayal you mean i can put start date as may 2023 and end date april 2024. However the express entry is letting me create profile with these details. But if i try to change end to may 2024 it doesn’t let me do it. Apart from that 1 may 2023 to 30 April 2024 count 52 week and 1 day according to google. Would it be fine

Hello I had FSW profile and was admitted in January. This July I got ITA under CEC, I need 1650 hours and I only get them in two weeks. I already accepted ITA should I summit now or after two weeks. That's when it will be 1650 hours although in months it's 12 months now in Canada

Trust me, I can't take any more of this BS. I've given five years of my life and career for this, and yet they keep doing this nonsense. I have crs score of 514, even if I come out on top in the end, is it worth it? It's just a Pyrrhic victory.

Yes, that's the whole point of having CEC only draws. For people inside Canada with CRS scores lower than the current ongoing draws

Thank you for clarifying! I keep seeing people talk about CEC. In your opinion do you think the draws will happen soon (within the next month or so) or in the fall like some people have said? I know this is just speculation. But just looking for some insight. Current PGWP expires in late June but my work is doing an LMIA for me at the moment. @@SahilSayal

Hi i have a confusion, can anybody please clear it. I Have 6 month of experience in category based job( Trucking ) but the problem is it is exactly 6 months. (780 hours ) according to 30 hours per week. not even a hour extra than 6 month ( 780 hours) i have other experience which will make me eligible for express entry. so is there any problem if i have exactly the same number of hours minimum required or i can go with it. thanks.

I have same question too. I am about to get married in August and my crs drops 25 points if i want to add my spouse to the application. I read some that once ITA is issued we can, spouse can be added without lowering crs. I have not confirmed this with anyone yet

I have same thing but in crs there is a option we can apply as a single applicant. Once we get PR then we can sponsor them for spousal PR

If you are married and you don't disclose that will be considered as misrepresentation and you can face ban for 5 years. So tread carefully

@binoywils yes sir.. you are right but in CRS there is 2 questions regarding this. First they ask for married you have to select yes if you are. Second there is one question you want to bring your wife with you that means for PR purpose, you want to put your file together. I understood this thing in this way

Let’s say your wife is in Canada with you under work permit then in that case if you select option wife not accompanying then you will have to give solid reasoning for that else your answer will be tagged not satisfactory and they will reject your application. Let’s say they accept your reason and you get approved then later on when you submit your wife’s application then it will be considered as misrepresentation
