what’s great is there a wholeeeee ass story about it in a 49er book that came out by a team writer a few years ago. basically, future showed up late af and they were worried he wasn’t gonna perform. it was a surprise for the whole team and they didn’t really know til like right before he started performing. future shows up like 9am, 4 hours before the game, on a red eye flight, and the rest is fuckin history !
