The Game Of Impossible

The Game Of Impossible

Күн бұрын

How can we future proof our teams amid rising debt levels? How do we inspire Gen Zs and even Gen Alphas? How do we become comfortable with releasing our best talents?
Idris and Leon unpack future proofing within 3 key pillars:
🌎 Policy - The slow decline of the US economy and how the world should look towards the lower debt models of China, South Korea and New Zealand.
⚙️Process - The ESSA model to streamline our Reports, Activities, Meetings, and Processes
🧡People - How to set a culture of raising and releasing.
Dato Sri Idris Jala is a former minister (ranked by Bloomberg in 2014 as the top 10 most influential policy makers in the world) and Chairman of PEMANDU Associates and Heineken Malaysia, as well as Co-Chairman of Sunway Group.
Leon Jala is a pastor at HTBB Church where he serves as the Director of Content and Co-head of Creative. He is also a Board Member of PEMANDU Associates where serves as Interim Chair.

Lots of interesting anecdotes & mind boggling current issues that need interestingly long - term strategies to resolve the issues. Globalization, Climate Change, Digitalization & Innovation etc are the burning issues being highlighted at most Forums & Symposiums. Til date the Debate still goes on to resolve such issues. Tq

Morning guys, once again thanks for the video. Would like to ask if you can talk about how the deal with low performers in team, specifically those who are actually incapable of producing good work rather than being reluctant to, and in a healthy team composition, can we allow low performers, if they are good in something else, perhaps someone who's good in networking and can pull the strings in the company, but subpar in his work and productivity.

Hi James, thanks for the suggestion - it’s a great follow-up conversation. And an important one at that! So much so that we have just recorded our next episode discussing non-performance and how to deal with it. The episode will go live on Friday 12 June, 6am. Thank you for helping to shape the next episode ☺️
