The Liberators seem to be people outside the flow, not bound by the life system Z created. Because of this, they don't age since time is frozen. If that is the case, Riku being in the Liberators would make a lot of sense! He could be from one of the worlds before they merged, not be enslaved by Z, and now he just sorta meanders between important people. That would mean he knows the truth of the world, and maybe teamed up with Shulk to make Lucky Seven. This would make Riku a common variety nopon, but he just happens to be immortal because time is frozen.

The scene where Shulk says “it’s a gift from Alvis” and it zooms in on the processor and then specifically Ontos’ core must mean that Alvis literally left is core behind behind for them. We know from the end of 2 that an aegis can remain alive without their core for some time, and with Alvis being stronger than his siblings perhaps he can exist indefinitely without his. So now his core is a sort of power source to be used by humanity, and our new cat girl gets her hands on it somehow

The Z, Shulk and Rex vs Alvis scene, with the dialogue from both trailers, make it seem to be that Alvis calculated that the only way to eliminate Mobius was to wipe everything clean, since "there is a bit of mobius in everyone" -final fight in the base game. And Shulk and Rex want to find another way, so they are teaming up to stop alvis from wiping everything.

Idk if you mention this later but A's art Cross Ray is actually a direct reference to Alvis. Since in XC1 during the battle where Alvis and Shulk fight a telethia. If you use a chain attack you can see that Alvis has an art called Cross Ray which is SUPER COOL ATTENTION TO DETAIL because it's literally one attack that probably less than 5% of players saw since its hidden behind a chain attack in one singular fight in the whole game in a game that released over a decade ago. As for Glimmer, i am no native speaker but as far as i can tell, 奏 means play (music), so 奏炎士 means someone who plays fire as melody, which is reflected in her battle animation. In 奏杖·天火明, 奏杖 looks like the weapon type, meaning a staff that can also be used as a instrument. 天火明 should be the weapon's name, meaning Bright Divine Flames.

A's "Oroboros" Spector stand thing could maybe be a Mobius form. Or, some crazy fan theory, maybe everyone has the potential for a transformation but it takes influence from Origin to unlock it. Either Oroboros or Mobius. And since Matthew seems to be have the ability to pass along Oroboros, it wouldn't be too surprising if A got a transformation from being around him.

My thoughts on alvis is the paradox of alvis becoming a God against the directive he was given by shulk caused him to split like zanza did, where the machine, ontos was left behind, while the personality became A who assists the party to try and fix their own fuck up

Ghondor picked it up, carried it around until he passed it on to Riku, and the rest is history. N made his Blade resemble L7 and the Purple Veiled Sword just cuz that’s what he’s used to; it’s obvious that is has different powers to L7.

My guess is that A somehow has access to data on what Earth was like before the Experiment, even before it was fucked up enough to make Klaus want to change the world. A says “[humans] having built the perfect world for themselves.” This contrasts heavily with how Klaus characterized pre-Experiment Earth, but is somewhat consistent with how Nia understood it in her Hero Quest. Adam Howden is the only English VA confirmed for the English cast. Chances are he's the only major cast member that is returning. And the other characters (especially Rex) has a new actor voicing them.

I'd like to point out that what you call fogbeasts actually look a lot more like the fog king in future connected, fogbeasts were regular enemies corrupted by fog energy, while the fog king was pure fog energy taking the form of another enemy, and the fog creatures we see in future redeemed seem to be fog energy taking the form of various regular enemies rather than corrupting them it's possible these enemies will still be referred to as fogbeasts in the game (and I think it'd make more sense than having multiple fog kings) but I still thought it was worth pointing out

I will say, when discussing the relationship chart you note that A is separate from the other factions - while it is true that she isn't in a colored box with the other characters, she and Alvis are both in the negative space left behind. Probably nothing but found it interesting lol

Its been speculated that Joanne Hogg is back for this DLC's theme song in this trailer. It all comes full circle.

I'll note two things, one of which came after this was recorded. 1) The Japanese title for the expansion translates to "A New Future." That's interesting since the Japanese title for Future Connected literally just translated as "Future Connected," so the original title is important and the English localization is deliberate. I think that Japanese title suggests even more than the English one the possibility that this isn't wholly a prequel. I guess "a new future" could refer to the one that the party in base game XC3 create by ending Aionios, but that's kind of a stretch. I think it's very possible that this game could end with something like an epilogue post-XC3, but the title "A New Future" seems to possibly indicate some timeline shenanigans or something of the sort. "Future Redeeemed" is vague enough to be able to just apply to base XC3, but "A New Future" seems more likely to imply **something** in this expansion beyond just prequel content. 2) We've now seen a clip from XenobladeJP on Twitter with characters at level 4, and only two of the party members are present at that point, indicating it could actually be toward the very beginning of the game. Combine this with the footage of characters at level 65, and Future Redeemed could be even longer than Torna, which finished around level 50 and started at level 1.

I think A is the personalety that got createt after Melia resonatet with the Ontos Core since Alvis is the original personalety before resonating . Since the original personalety disapears by reasonating with the core alvis tried to transfer himself into the logos processor and got corrupted by it.

My theory is Alvis is working to reunite the worlds, which is his ‘gift’; Z still believes what lies beyond the merger is oblivion, which is why he asks if Alvis is so determined to erase them. Perhaps Z was initially good but after Alvis sets the worlds in motion to combine he becomes what he is in the future.

I don't think Alvis is evil I think he simply wants to join the two worlds together. Shulk and Rex don't want that to happen because they think that will destroy the World which is why they make origin, and Z doesn't want that to happen which is why he creates the endless now it also explains why they're on the same side, kinda

Huh, how very interesting, i very much appreciate this Video, gives me more things to look forward to in the DLC. Also, you had some interesting ideas too, I guess we’ll see if any of it will be implemented.

With hindsight, I always found weird they didn't give Alvis an actual core crystal in Definitive Edition, and now even A has a jewel which is even weirder, because Moebius have what looks like a core crystal in their chest. I initially thought they were messing with us because they didn't want to straight up admit he was Onthos, but now we get to see Na'el with the actual core crystal. I'm starting to think neither Alvis nor A were the real thing, but just an extension of Onthos. Unlike Pyra and Mythra being extensions of Pneuma who had her core crystal and basically were a part of her, Alvis and A might just be some interface Onthos uses as he has never left the Trinity Processor. At the end of XC1, we don't really see him but just a light coming from the Earth. I'm getting the feeling the real Onthos has yet to be shown and might get destroyed only to reincarnate as Na'el later on. Fingers crossed, a new Logos might show up as well and not be one Pyra or Mythra, since a purple crystal technically is still missing. If it is either Pyra or Mythra, my boy Rex is the strongest character in the series, being the driver of 2 Aegises.

I'm going to say this, Cross Ray is one of Alvis's arts in his brief time as a party member. Also, Shulk looks exactly like how Klaus did in XC2, he just has both sides of his body.

Edit: Also I'm not sure if anyone pointed it out yet, but just in case, there's a Bunnit in the background of the screenshot with the 2/8 locations thing that's level 5, and it has the "you're near this enemy's level" color for the level indicator text, which means you start around level 5, likely at level 1 because that makes more sense at that low of a number.
