I dont think the slum and majorities of poor living cant be eradicate easily in India,Indonesia,Nigeria,Philipinas,Bangladesh,Brazil. That those countries mostly too croweded population and difficult to fullfill the job needed. The GDP projection just a illogical,non senson programming assumtion. The countries that not soo must population, recently achieve good standard of living like Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, New Zealand, almost all Europe Nation, Gulf Countries will confident enjoying whealthy countries and majorities of their population achieve as advance modern countries

This is great video. I think the next 10 years, the countries to watch are emerging Asian countries with significant population (Minimum 30mil and above) where due to increased affluence and economic growth/complexity, they will become much bigger, richer faster i.e. Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and India. South Korea, Taiwan and Japan even China need to re-invent themselves otherwise, they will grow much slow and/or give in to ASEAN countries to lead Asian growth in the next decade. Also, I think many of these European countries are already well-developed and quite wealthy, can they compete in an increasingly Asian + USA world? US is impressive despite its size and relative development, can still grow pretty strongly and be highly competitive.

The driving force behind the development of Asian tigers is low labor costs. I would not underestimate Europe because it is at a different level. If we were to try to illustrate the phenomenon of economic development, the best analogy would be to compare it to mountain climbing, the initial stage of climbing Mount Everest is a walk, the real challenges begin above a certain height, because overcoming each additional meter is a superhuman effort, in fact the peak is inaccessible to most participants this race, because they are socially unprepared for the challenges that must be met in the world of extreme competition, i.e. where the factor of low labor costs is not a bonus but an obstacle to development. Europe does not sell products but ideas, the best factories in Europe are universities, not car assembly plants.

需要说明的是，小国家只需要一两个产业保持领先地位就可以让他们的国民过的很好。但是如果抛弃能源和金融因素。产业领先在小国所能创造的利润将会越来越少，因为大国家会利用产业链优势对小国进行产业打击。(例如你的上游就在你的隔壁，可比在你隔壁国家所能带来的效率高很多) 当然也有很多历史因素，比如英国有很多富人在非洲拥有矿产。法国可以用市场1/10的价格购买来自非洲的核原料。。。。。

@@Vindix007 video's title is "world's biggest economy", so learn to read basic English first. About per capita, a country's strength in global stage isn't measured by per capita but by total gdp. E.g - Luxembourg or qatar's per capita is way higher than USA, but USA considered as global superpower bcz of its total gdp, and no one cares about those two minions. So learn basic geo politics first then comment. You compared India with brazil, i don't know about your country's domestic conditions, but i know mine very well. Our country perform exceptionally well bcz of our current govt. We are the fastest growing trillion dollar economy, we will become 3rd biggest economy by 2027-28 and 2nd by 47-50. We doubled our gdp in less than a decade. So say whatever about your brazil, but don't bring our country in your discussion.

atas dasar apa? dan trs kenapa? klau ekonomi yg berkontribusi cuma segelintir orang, yg hidupnya membaik ya segelintir orang. gdp tidak menggamabarkan kesenjangan sosial. gdp tidak mengukur kualitas produk/jasa. gdp tidak mengukur kualitas standar hidup warga negara tersebut. bayangin amerika yg sekarang gdp nomor 1 aja banyak homeless, artinya belum tentu hidup individu akan sejahtera.

Thanks for interesting forecast. However I find the comments to the countries development in the video to be bias. Western countries are not criticized almost at all. Meanwhile the rest of the world has problems with bureaucracy, unemployment, corruption etc. I lived for a long time in Russia, India, Italy. And the problems with bureaucracy and unemployment (at least among young people), as well as a poor automatization in Italy are much worse than in India or Russia. In India I could pay with my phone for the coconut from a street vendor. And in Italy try to get a bus ticket on Sunday when all cigarette shops are closed
