To increase your city rank.. add people to your city as much as you can.. your rank Will be up😄.. so don't to be too proud to this kind of megacity.. but salute and respect to the large populated city with good management like Tokyo.. it isnt easy to manage so much people in the city.. they call it overpopulated or not over populated.. thats why many cities look very crowded because there is no balance in population compared to Its infrastrucures

Chongqing is not that large the numbers reported are usually for the whole district/province rather than metropolitan area. Also Seoul should be there almost 50% of S.K population live in Seoul metropolitan area (25+ million)

I don't understand which definition of metropolitan you use. Tokyo, if we don't lump Tokyo together with other cities in Greater Tokyo Area (such as Yokohama, Kawasaki, Saitama to name a few), its total population won't reach 37+ million people. Metro Manila in Philippines consists of 16 cities. what makes me confused is, Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Area in Indonesia has 32 million people. By this definition (if we follow your definition of Tokyo and Manila since you lump together CITIES not just a city) Jakarta should've been placed in the 2nd place.
