Well done! Now, hopefully, some museum manager doesnt decide to take it apart again and leave the turret in the parking lot to be used as a kids jungle jim. Lol! Its good to see history brought back to working order. So much better than seeing just a shell sitting on display.

I'm certainly interested in what they are going to do with it; I hope at least it is put on display, not gathering dust in the conservation centre.

I suspect it could go faster in a straight line, the straights are very short in the Tank Museum arena, but on anything other than flat terrain the risk of toppling over at any speed must be enormous.

@@andrewd666 I doubt it could carry that battleship gun faster than an actual battleship could:] This is from the era of the British land forces, in which tank strategy was dictated by the navy :] Slowly forwards, reverse in non battle situations only:]
