The last minute barrier was broken. Speedrun is still imperfect and sub 4:50 is possible. The developer will release a level editor with two levelpacks soon! It will be great to participate in other categories on the new patch!
Baba Is You is a puzzle game where the rules you have to follow are present as blocks you can interact with. By manipulating them, you can change how the game works, repurpose things you find in the levels and cause surprising interactions!

there are parts where it's visibly done by a human thanks to hesitation (e.g. undos, taking a brief pause to remember what his next moves are)

Fun fact: a TAS of this ending would involve opening the settings menu and pressing the high contrast button 201 at the last level to instantly remove all blossoms by causing an infinite loop error

That is because of a setting where button inputs can be made to be inputted faster than normal. Although it might make it very hard to control, it obviously helps in speed runs.

Because if you press, say W and up, you go up twice. Also, spamming > holding

@@atchaaa if you have repeat input delay all the way at 0, holding is faster than mashing.
