To be honest all three are superb airguns and the choice is not easy but taking your back injury into consideration then my pick would be the dreamline tac compact, it is a dream to carry round all day if needed, match it up with a good lightweight scope such as the Hawke Airmax compact which works really well with the dlc tac and keeps the compact theme going. David!! i haven't yet as it went straight on the DLC-Tac ... it was briefly on my rimfiremagic 10/22 but it was a brief fitting ... probably going to fit it on a .243 which might get some sort of add on NV ... ;) thanks for the comment too

Hi Simon and thanks for the question … in all honesty I have not found flex and issue with the dlc tac … it is a shorter barrel than my Dreamline lite which does get effected by flex if you hold the rifle by the barrel and air tube … a good friend of mine was missing the target with it and it wasn’t until I watched the video I realised he was gripping the barrel and air tube … one I pointed this out he was bang on target. The dlc tac is much shorter and I’m conscious of correctly holding the rifle to avoid flex. I have also got a barrel band for the lite from black arts design in the USA which helps prevent any kind of flex … I believe that precision rifle systems (PRS) also provide some similar and they are based in the U.K. www.pr-s.co.uk/about-us

thanks Larry ... appreciate you saying that and glad you like the vid ... the attachement is a magpul qd system ... not cheap but probably the best out there ... seen a few Chinese knock offs failing and the gun dropping to the ground ... certainly not something you want for your £1k+ gun ... just for the sake of saving a few quid ..

Not sure if I understand but I think the calibre change writing will be standard, they generally come with just a single multi shot magazine and no single shot tray. new multi shot magazines will be available from your supplier the black and white gauges are indicative of age and we’re changed progressively.

Think you’ll be very happy with it David … it’s my favourite sub12 by far

I have a mk2 and I’ll not be giving it up anytime soon but the new mk3 with the sideshot mag is a definite plus ... the adjustability is another winner over the mk2 but the dlc tac is a different animal ... being so modular it can be made into any guise to suit your needs ... I hope I never gave to make the decision on having to choose one over the other ... the mk3 might just edge it over the pair but for the time being I’m keeping both as they serve different purposes ... the “warcat” is my dedicated night set up and the dlc tac is a great stalking, hide and vehicle gun ... like I say tough choice sorry to be so indecisive

sorry Derek i thought i'd replied but must have missed the send button .... the gun retails around 930ish i believe ... the stock can vary in price but generally around 100+ c/w buffer and castle nut ... some will be more ... much more and a few will be less ... scope can range from 70 upwards but don't cheap out on bad scopes ...

Hi Neil … good question mate … I fitted a riser on the impact to clear the air bottle the Dreamline lite and tac just have the arca Swiss attachment as the air tube is narrower in diameter

Hi and thanks for the comment ... it's the new superior barrel which will be standard fitment on the next batch ... apparently the length of my barrel is 300mm but measures 350mm with the shroud ... so 50mm of shroud ... i'll strip things down to confirm all this once i can stop shooting it ...

But, the thick one is 380 mm. barrel, so the ´slim´ one is shorter? Just 300mm... ?

Hi Scott and thanks for the question ... kits are available in various shapes.and sizes ... from stocks to buddy bottles to barrels ... I have a lite too and I’m also looking at converting to a shorter barrel and maybe a carbon bottle ... you’ll probably need an offset adapter for the bottle too

@@mickgarveyairattackmia4722 interesting so you did get the new slimmer barrel yeah I was nervous about ordering because in the photos you see the old barrel with the huge taper that prevents you from putting a power plenum and bottle on it Utah air guns also said I would receive the new slim down barrel and a power plenum but I don’t see a power plenum on yours so I don’t think you get that…

There will always be the haters and many of the issues stem from some of the “home tuners” that are not qualified to be messing with an Airgun … I’ve seen so many bodge jobs it’s unbelievable… sounds like yours is a good ‘un though so hope the fun continues 👍🏻
