I think my problem was a dodgy gauge, it was so far over what the actual bottle pressure was that I was already off the reg when I was testing mine. Make sure you fill your gun up to 250bar on the fill source pressure gauge before shooting over the chrony

@@meatheadmarksman2013 yeah mate I had to turn it to min on the hammer spring and low on the power wheel, still punched through the pigeon's though, I've found the best trade between power and shot count is with the hammer spring set on min and the Power wheel set on .25/.30 power is quite adequate out to fifty mtrs and I get 108 accurate shot's from 230 down to 100 bar, at full power I only get 54 shot's, that means alot when doing pest control.

There's not much to it for me, I use the fx 3 stage hand pump, usually just half fill, let the pump cool down and then finish it off. I'll put the video on my to do list

Dreamline is a great choice! I show how I clean in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sKx1gJmbt7GcoKM.html As far as tuning/calibrating goes id suggest leaving it alone until you decide you want to try something specific because they come tuned very nicely from the factory, but once you have had a blast and want to try a different pellet or do something specific I did a video on tuning my crown wich is basically the same process as tuning the dreamline, found here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rt6id72ep5vJl4k.html

The shroud threads onto 1/2 20unf piece that holds the stx sleeve in, I believe the end cap thread is the same size so you can put a moderator on if they are legal in your area. I used leupold prw medium rings for my scope. And yes if you want to switch to another caliber you have to get a pellet probe, barrel and sleeve for that caliber as the 25 pellet probe/barrel/sleeve won't work with the 30 cal stuff

There are variants available now with the smaller tube reservoirs so have a look at them if that's what your into, there are also lots of companies making accessories for them now and the sling plate attachment is $69 from k&l. Should make it easier to handle in the jungle, would look very cool with the smaller tube and sling too

Your best option is to order a slug liner through hermanns and wait, it'll be a few months but is basically the only option for Aussies. As for slugs I'd suggest contacting Nick Nielsen from nsa on Facebook and ask if he's sent any to Australia yet. I'm probably just gunna wait till they're available from Aussie dealers

I'll bet Spain is lovely this time of year! The impact is more adjustable and capable of more power then the dreamline, also takes BIGASS magazines - that being said the dreamline is awesome... personally I'd rather have the dreamline then the crown. 15x is fine, often better then higher power if your buying a cheaper scope. Check out my Schmidt and bender video and you'll see what a wild turkey bottle looks like at 100m. Not sure about the tune, possibly it could have been set up for a different caliber and swapped without retuning. I'm about an hour and half north of brizzy.

yeah both are good ideas. i dont bother with pellet prep but if your hunting for perfect accuracy and wanna cover all bases its worth it. i do index my liner, gets you a smidge more elevation and windage to play with

Ive seen a few lefties use it with no issues. There is an aftermarket cocking block available from sabre tactical that changes the side of the cocking lever too

Australia has different rules state to state but generally anything that lessens the sound out of the barrel is a no no

If I was gunna get something other then an fx here in Australia I'd get one of the original import benjamin mauraders because they came with a functional shroud and are about the quietest thing out there. Keep an eye out on used gun websites. They have a big user base worldwide, every body tunes them and modifies them

You need to look at Matt Dubber's channel for info on FX slug liners. He is the guy who helped develop the slug liner with FX. He has videos going back years on FX barrels and ballistics. He's not just some back yard hack either.

Nope, no power restrictions but you need a full category A gun licence to own an Air gun, even if it is very low powered.

Lubrication and a little motion in the ocean lol circular motion on the way in stops it from binding, I usually roll them down a bit too so when they inevitably move they move back to where they should be

The mkii can put out more power because it has a better regulator, bigger plenum and I think the hammer might be a little bigger too. The mkii is actually capable of using the .357 caliber which the mki impact can't do without a power up kit from Ernest Rowe

If youve followed my tuning method exactly and done everything properly and it still wont shoot there could be something wrong with the gun. If you skipped steps and didnt follow it exactly you should try that first. Second option is send it back and have warranty claim fix it which is what you really should do, and 3rd option is to go in and find whats wrong yourself. @@subsonicreviews1835 nah the adjustable regulator is a feature of the gun, if you adjusted it how it says to adjust it in the user manual you will be fine, your allowed to do that. My pellet probe was installed already when i bought it. Are you getting higher speeds when your bottle is full? I ask because faulty gauges can confuse the heck outta you so i normally suggest people tune their guns with at least 175bar in the tank

@@meatheadmarksman2013 speed's are ok till I hit the min reg pressure (150) but I do hear a hissss of air after every shot from the valve aeria.also My valve fully unscrewed goes only till 10.3mm and the hammer spring 14.6mm is the max it will go. I see yours can go 10.94mm valve and 15.5 Hammer.

@@subsonicreviews1835 you shouldn't really need to have your valve any more then the last line. Are you adjusting the hammer spring just by turning the wheel or with a hex wrench on the actual screw? The hissing air is probably a bad thing. Sounds like a bad c3 o ring. I did a video on that called "fx impact sudden loss of power fix"

The fill adapter is a good move I think, if you have a pump from a different brand you'd be very happy to see that come with it. The manual is kinda annoying... hard to find how hard the reg pressure can go on the net, gotta keep it old-school till I figure that out haha

the only difference in price after converting from USD to AUD is the GST in Australian dollars believe it or not. I love real guns too, I have several centerfires but i cant use them on my property cos theyre so loud and you just need more room. the impact allows you to experience all the things that shooting the savage 338 at 1000 yards brings but in your backyard, and its fully adjustable for caliber, twist rate, ammo type and even different types of harmonic tuning charges. So if you don't need any of those things its not worth it but if you use those things all the time its the only choice. I didnt understand why you would spend that much money on an airgun either until I actually got into it. Its worth every penny to me now! haha

@@muntee33 youd have to check your state regulations, under catagory A it just states "Air rifles" which means technicallyyou could have a full auto airgun if you wanted but its up to the state weapons licencing to interperate the act. In queensland you can have the crossman 1077 which is basically a semi auto but is technically a revolver. very fun little gun, cheap too! fx makes a semi auto which would be much better but its pretty pricey too

Meathead Marksman Only single shot, manual repeating firearms in cat A... (certain single shot, manual repeating firearms are beginning to make their way to C/D. Add said legal Au wide too.... They’re obviously professionals who know what is on the tag I guess. Just didn’t know semi-auto anything was able to be A/B. Gut says it has temporarily slipped through the cracks.... Straight pulls and pump actions are being pushed towards the chopping block so dunno how it would be legit.... Although, paintball markers are semi-auto I guess🤔

@@muntee33 The trick is really to call up your Weapons licencing branch or a trusted gun shop and ask about specific models that you are interested in, there is no real logical structure to the rules and you cant really examine them and say "this is this" so "this must be that." theres all sorts of strange loop holes, in QLD there is no limit to catagory a magazine capacity, so if you wanted to you could make a 100 round magazine for your 22LR haha, you also have to ask is there a difference under law between airguns and firearms???? because they use both words to describe seperate things, they are both "weapons" but they are different from firearms? its madness... best to phone the WLB and ask about a specific make and model before planning anything.
