Ingredients with reduced measurements for small family (scale accordingly):
Wheat Flour - 2 Cups
Powdered Sugar - 2 Cups
Ghee - 1/2 Cup + 3 Tbsp (or 3/4 Cup can be used )
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts - 10-15 (Break them into small pieces)
Raisins - 10
The measurements listed below in the instructions follow what is shown in the uploaded video.
Instructions:
Add 1 Cup of Ghee to a big pan, fry 10-25 broken cashews for few minutes in low flame. Ensure the cashews do not turn brown in colour.
Now slowly add 4 Cups of Wheat Flour in batches and fry. Add remaining 1/4 Cup Ghee in the middle and continue to roast for 15 minutes in low flame. Switch off the flame once done.
Leave the Ghee-Wheat Flour mixture to turn warm.
Now add 4 Cups of Powdered Sugar in batches and add 1 tsp of Cardamom Powder and mix well with the help of hand.
Take a little portion of the Wheat Laddu mixture in hand and prepare Laddus.
Add raisin while preparing Laddus. One can fry the Raisins and add it to the Laddu mixture and prepare Laddus.
Godhi Laddu or Godhi Unde is now ready to serve.
