G dragon is really a legend. I respect him. Winning artist of the year award as a Kpop group is one thing, then winning artist of the year award as a solo artist is a whole different level. G dragon is the only one in Kpop to win artist of the year award as a solo artist. He shouldn't be compared to anyone. Never.... G dragon is the whole package. He is Kpop itself.

This is one of many reasons why GD is King in MY opinion. Winning artist of the year is 1 thing, winning it as a SOLO ARTIST is a whole different level. I don't see anyone in history is accomplishing that anytime soon.

마마 투표 몇달전부터 매일매일하고 마마 기다리면서 어떤 무대할까 기대하고. 시작전 레드카펫부터 끝까지 풀로쭉 달리면서 마지막 무대 기다리고. 모든 과정이 너무 좋았어. 대상 발표 직전에 얼마나 떨렸는지. 그러면서 지드래곤 이름이 불리면 너무 기쁘고 신나서 진짜 세상을 다가진 기분이었지. 초등학생이던 내 눈에는 너무나도 큰 가수였었는데 돌아보니지금 내 나이랑 몇살 차이도 안나더라. 항상 실험적이고 패기넘치는 무대 자신만만한 무대 보는 사람도 신나는 그런 무대 만들어줘서 추억할수 있게 해줘서 너무 고마워. 너와 함께한 모든 과정이 설레고 행복했었어 너무 좋은 추억 만들어줘서 고맙고 사랑해 권지용. 영원히 응원하고 좋아할꺼야.

Till this day only bigbang who the solo member have won daesang. GD won ALOTY in 2008 and AROTY in 2013 and taeyang won SOTY in 2014

But, it is also depends on how they will gonna choose their own style. The two entertainment has an own style. Well, actually i recommnend YG than SM because being in YG you will gonna be treated as a family not an artist, etc. not like in SM, they treated their artist like a robot. (No hate, just my opinion) because i can say it, because of what happend to Kris. Im not bashing SM, but they must be kind to their artist because without their own artist they dont have a income too.. In short YG is much better in SM if it comes to how they treated each other artists. :)
