In this video, I take the G-Force T42 E-Bike and put it to its paces. Does it hold up? Come ride with me as I go off-roading, climb some steep trails, coast down the hill, and almost run in a car, yep, their fault of course.
For more info on the bike visit www.g-forcebik...

I like my 42. The only problem is I've had a hell of a run with quality control. It came with a rim that had a huge dent in it. Had to get another. Bent rotor on that wheel. Just went and bought another. Then I'm riding down the road and hit a bump. Not hug but not small. Bike quits. A connection broke loose inside the ignition assembly. So they send a new one. Had no connections hooked up. Basically a pre assembly line piece. So bow I have to take it to a bike shop to have that done or the old one fixed and they'll reimburse. Bike is great when it's running. I've put 700 miles on. Seems I've gotten a growing list of things that keep happening

Thanks for the video. I was really hoping to see a little bit more uphill, trying it out on steeper and steeper up hills trails. You might have done that to get up there where you did your big glide, but you mainly showed going down. Almost anything with wheels can go downhill fairly easily, what will this thing do going up a fairly steep grade? I live in mountainous country and would like to know before I purchase. If it's not going to get me any further up the hill than the Lectric xp2, 500 versus the 750 motor, it won't be near as much use to me. Thanks

20 inchers are good as an e bike. Unless you plan to also travel alot on non assist, specially going uphill. My take as a rider

It a great bike and I would buy it all over again. I have had no issues so far. I changed the breaks once already and only because I did a bunch of downhills where I was riding the breaks a lot. Other than that it’s going strong. You won’t be disappointed.

Hi Paul, I really enjoyed your video on the T-42. When you were going up the hill was that with or without pedal assist? Thanks. (I'm looking into buying one of these bikes, but I need to make sure it can get up a 15-20 grade paved hill). Thanks. Fred
@Incacal71
@Incacal71 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Fred, I used pedal assist level 2 or 3 I can't remember. When you set up the bike you can have different levels of assist. I like to pedal (for some workout) and have the bike assist me for a bit. You probably can have it go up hill with no assist but your battery will drain a lot quicker. Its a balance, if I want a long ride, about 25-30 miles then I usually do pedal assist 2 or 3. Weight is also a factor and I weigh about 190lbs.

@@johnw65 wow. 34mph that’s fast! Glad you got it all worked out. Yeah that gear change is good although, give it some time to really consider it. I find myself rarely going fast enough to have to AIR pedal. Once at those speeds the battery drains pretty quickly so you’ll eventually find a happy place. Mine is around 13mph so no need for a sprocket. If I do go too speed it’s usually just a couple seconds and I prefer to have my lowest gear possible for some climbs. It’s a bit of a trade off if you get the sprocket I believe you’ll lose the lowest gear. Good luck and have fun!

was that rattling in the video your phone mount?
@thefix-itguyreviewer8151
@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 2 жыл бұрын
I don't like that type of bike mount for the phone. Because you can't record on the handlebars. It blocks the camera.. A better solution would probably be the ones with the elastics. Cuz then you can move them over and see the camera. You know you could probably buy a helmet camera too but I don't want any extra weight on my head with my phone. Oh but then people will say just by a GoPro. We're adding up a lot of money here. 🤣 The phone is just fine for recording.. ;)

@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 2 жыл бұрын
@@unclemeat7310 No you need a big hole not a little hole because of the angle of the lens. But it would be worth a try I guess I'm fine with my elastic mount holder with the magnet I pushed the elastics over problem solved and their cheaper than the other types like this big one. ;)
@unclemeat7310
@unclemeat7310 2 жыл бұрын
@@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 didn't think the hole would need to be any larger than it is on any other phone case. I guess if there is space between the back of the phone and the mount the hole would need to be larger.

@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 2 жыл бұрын
@@unclemeat7310 well I guess I would have tried it but I bought the elastic version.. Also don't these mount cases have mechanisms in them that open and shut if I drill a hole it could destroy something and it won't open and close anymore.

can you tell me what the top speed is....? is it unlocked for speed right out of the box? and is that top speed with pedel assist or throttle only? THANKS!
@Incacal71
@Incacal71 2 жыл бұрын
Top speed on the bike depends on your weight, battery charge level, road conditions. With that said, I'm about 195lbs, 5'10". Full battery and flat surface with zero wind conditins I can get about 26-27mph. This is without pedal assist, throttle only. The pedals at this speed are too fast to assist the bike, you would need a higher gear set which is not a bad upgrade to get. Out of the box it's set to Class 2 bike 20mph tops but it's easy to change in the settings to give you top speed. It's a great bike!

Hey Paul I don't know if you keep up with these videos or not but if you do I've got a question I wanted to ask you I know you have got the 500 watt motor on your bike but will the new batteries for these new bikes work on your bike as well I would hope it would because what are you supposed to do if you need a new battery because the only one I'm seeing that they're advertising on their website is the 48 volt with the 20 amp is the only battery I see that you can buy on their website so what are we supposed to do
@Incacal71
@Incacal71 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Don, the battery used on this bike is available elsewhere too, for a cheaper price. It’s a standard battery that goes in all these types of bikes and when I say that I mean that this is a common bike frame that many companies just slap their name on. For example, Lectric bikes have this same frame on their first version and it uses the same battery so with that said, it’s readily available, you just have to look around.
@donwilson350

But Paul do you think that new 48 volt 20 amp battery do you think it would work in your bike
@Incacal71

@@donwilson350 it should work just fine. They did not change the frame on the new bike. It's the same frame and if you notice on the website they offer 3 different battery capacities for the same bike. All the did was replace the battery cells insode the housing with higher capacity cells. The price for one of those is insane though, $690 for a battery, ouch,
