Good for you I love when I see channels doing tech on there aeg and showing his work just wanted to let u know next time u run into a G&g or any other gearbox with no quick change spring so if u have a piston at rear u can pull antireverse but makesure u get a good grip on latch u don’t wanna let go as it’s resetting to the front it will snap teeth I’m a fellow tech been airsofting for ten years plus wish I started a channel I have worked on sooooo many builds I used to work for a airsoft store and outside contractor also so a lot of fixes also builds I’ve done would have really helped out KZfaq and others that needed help I’ve done almost all gbb pistol builds sniper race gun aegs dual sector gear builds when not too many ppl knew about them trimming loops off return springs lol only the real old school techs know what I’m talking about mosfets were limited only had btc spectra couple others from there line and then came along gate version I always used gate mosfets for years I built my own braking fets so stop using theres but I used all gate fets before the trigger replacement mosfets with sensors right when the gate trigger fets came out I stepped out of the scene of airsoft so for past few years I haven’t been teching at all I have sooo many airsoft guns to not play airsoft but Trudeau has really messed up airsoft and I have very Special airsoft guns worth a lot and I would be very hurt to loose like a pistol build I’ve spent over a 1000dollars building to loose it just cause the law just changed up on us for looking too real they will take them away but there telling us we can keep what we have but can’t buy no more lol why wouldn’t they jsut do what other countries do put red tips take it off now your breaking law simple as that no one takes them off in countries using red tips on airsoft guns cause it’s the law anyone not following that can get shot by police since they wanted to break the law but don’t ruin it for sooo many youth and adults staying out of trouble on weekends instead of being on streets learning or doing bad stuff when there playing a sport they love Father’s sons playing airsoft was only time a lot of these fathers and sons got to bond I’m sure all across the world at every airsoft field there’s a father and son playing airsoft cause they’re is many in Canada and I see the bonding time they get it’s awesome I’m surprised all the parents aren’t starting a uproar about this but again media these days don’t report negative news on Trudeau since he pays them lol sorry guys going on rants lol

Great content man. I just recently installed the Gate Aster and Quantum Trigger in my ARP9 without any other modifications. I had a really hard time getting the motor all the way into the grip due to the stiffness of the Aster's motor wires coming through the bottom of the gearbox. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Also, looking to replicate the UA Wombat build in the near future, what are your thoughts on that build?

you can go way faster and way snapier with the ARP9 😀 A few parts are really unnessacary and you could get way faster with some tweaks

That gearbox is gonna break from the maxx cylinder head. Metal cylinder heads will crack EVEN radiused gearboxes. That barrel is way too short for the cylinder port on their too. Mismatched air volume creates turbulence behind the BB, destabilizing it and causing inaccuracy.

What did you see in FPS and RPS? I’m struggling to get some FPS . Out the box it only shot 308 . Now after I’ve done several upgrades, 330? Advise ?

You should have check first if the mosfet is working before installing....

Good tutorial on shimming. Way too soft for my local fields. We have 2.4 joule limit so I run much heavier built setups. All my krytac rifles run 140 springs and full built gearboxes with titan bt. Puts me right at 2.4 joule with .32. 405fps. Obviously outdoor.

I wonder how much it would be to make my krytac pdw m good. I put some things in the gun, but I wanted a faster fire rate without pme, that and the lower and upper has a tiny bit of wobble

so I just got a Maxx trigger and I put it in the gearbox and when it tries to put the gearbox into the lower receiver, it won't fit, do I need to cut the part the trigger goes into on the receiver??? please help
