This is basically the exact gun I have been building. I got an LT-29 low fps model when they first dropped because I loved the stock. I also picked up an ICS L85. The LT-29 out performed it OotB. I started with a 13:1 asg boost 30k build SS for 300fps. Was having some feeding issues(later found out due to the bucking lips in my Maxx unit). Figured what the hell, going DSG, I see so many people say dont attempt DSG until you are WAY experienced. Challenge accepted. So far so good. Been doing a lot of back yard testing and first game this weekend. Love having the big LT emblem on the side that people roll their eyes at :D

I am getting some unfavorable accuracy on my dsg build. 185mm barrel, maple leaf macaron bucking, FPS is sitting at a VERY consistent 328-330. But the grouping on the shots just isnt that great. Can def still hit a torso but before going DSG I was hitting a paper plate dead on across my property each shot. Does this just come with the territory of DSG? Thank you!

Hello your videos are informative and to the point.I LIKE IT !!!, I just got a gen 3 and would like to upgrade my spring to an M-130 so I may shoot .30 bbs and still keep a decent fps. What motor would you recomend for this ? By raising the FPS does that mean I shouldn't use full auto anymore ?

You can still use full auto but be mindful of the FPS because depending on how you build it I’ve gotten m130 up to 460 FPS and I wouldn’t reccomend full auto dumps with 460 FPS Motor I would reccomend to have serious torque but have speed it my Real Deal Golden Boi Motor it’s 18 TPA so a lot of torque but speed as well They are to re stock in 1-2 weeks If you want a motor with similar performance but much less torque than ASG 30k but it has much less torque

I can shim my gears great, but i always end up with a loud piston/cylinder head smack how do i get it quieter like your builds

That really comes down to what cylinder head your using. If your using a Sorbo or not I just use my real deal performance piston assembly and the stock cylinder head which is polymer. But if you use a Sorbo you really have to analyze your aoe

Shims are little small metal circles that we place on the shafts if the gears to effect their height and positioning inside the gearbox

What spring did you use? Do you have any advice with 13:1 not to get premature engagement?

Stock spring that came with Aeg m110 if I were to guess. With 13:1 you never really would run into pre mature engagement. If you do then short stroke a tooth or too off the pickup of sector and release of piston but with 13:1 I never run into pMe and my pistons are AOE corrected also

No PME at all , short stroked cuz originally it was a 400 FPS build and we ran a heavy spring. Then he wanted indoor so it’s short stroked. Oh well lol

I know this is late but I had to slap my LT in a vice and use a pipe wrench to get the barrel nut off. Thing was seriously torqued on!

Well it’s up to you how you want to wire it. You can choose both but traditionally this is a rear wired AEG

No problem. All of the upgrade parts I use are available on my website. Here’s a link to a really nice bundle kit I would also advise swapping out your bearings for higher quality bushings like the ZCI steel ones I have or the J cage bearings both on our website. All of these parts work together. The mosfet controls the high speed parts. Grab a golden Boi high torque motor , 13:1 gears , fresh pack of shims and a mosfet and a upgraded piston Yes all these parts are needed in order for the system to work properly. Install a higher torque motor without a mosfet and the gun will double cycle

Hi, i have specna arms edge series 1 after little upgrade nothing crazy, shimming and better piston plus perun hybrid installed and the motor gets pretty hot. What motor you recommend for that kind of build ? Is asg 30k shown in this video fine for this or i need more torque ?

If you want more torque but want to keep the same rps virtually give or take a bb or two , then go with my golden Boi motor for superior torque compared to the 16 tpa 30k motor

The stock spring , however those springs are kind of short in length. I always reccomend shs sorings. We carry them in the website. They are Eli her and have longer life spans as well less likely to get warped For indoor m100

after you cut the stock in two, can you remove the rear of the alpha stock? (does the mag section slide of the buffer tube?) to swap to a minimalist stock?

Once you disconnect the stock from the grip, you can remove their stock easily. The adjustment tab that changes stock position will allow you to complestly remove leaving you a version 2 buffer tube

Take a dremmel and literally cut and disconnect the stock from the grip. Cut it with a dremmel or hand saw Then just remove the old stock by depressing the stock adjustment tab And then for the shit grip just unscrew the bottom. Remove the motor unscrew the gearbox screws that go from inside the grip into the gearbox and then your grip comes off

Wasn't sure if it will work but now I am pretty confident! Thanks a lot!!! Just one question-- do I need a new sector gear since the sector gear inside my lancer gen 2 proline has a small piece of a magnet for the current stock mosfet?

@@markoIam1 dude it was amazing. didn't change anything on the stock gearset. with perun mosfet, shs high torque motor, titan battery the gun shoots 30+ FPS, and the trigger response is unbelievable, even better than those HPAs. Perun is absolutely amazing and if you have a lancer it is 100% compatible and you don't have to do any modification on the gear or the shell. of course if you want to upgrade your piston and cylinder assembly or nozzle you can certainly do that. just note that you gonna need a different screw and a piece of shim to secure the mosfet onto the gearbox shell, and i just took a screw out of my laptop's back cover.

I don’t use 30k motors I use my real deal golden Boi motor which is basically 30k lmao With my motor and 13:1 expect 30rps same with ASG 30k They get about the same rof give it take maybe 1 bb but real deal has 2 more TPA Expect 30rps with 30k on 13:1

Neither - action army because it has the largest hop window But I use ZCI in the past - and Prometheus has a big window as well

Hey :) I managed to build this setup, 13:1, 30k engine, etc. I had to correct the AOE... before I had about 370 fps... after the correction, it dropped to 280-290... it's pretty weak like that. Do you have any idea what is going on? thanks

@@TheRealDealAirsoft So I used : Perun V2 Hybrid 13:1 Specna gears 30K boost ultimate motor Specna CNC bearing spring guide Specna CNC bearing piston head Specna CNC cylinder head Specna O ring nozzle Stock piston Stock ported cylinder If I test the compression it's perfect. The shimmimg is perfect. If I correct the AOE alredy drops the fps... The patient is a SA Flex, because it's short and light :)

I can not lower the bewel gear any more in my ics mmr, or krytac for the pinion gear to have some room. What to do? Thanks

@@TheRealDealAirsoft Sorry I realized that how we usually open the gearbox it would be rising the bevel gear. I made sure the bevel and pinion are aligned, thete is only one 0.1mm shim between the bushing and bevel, but the bevel is still tight and there is no side to side play on the gear (the spin motion you talked about). Should I grind down the gear or the bevel gear or getting a good quality motor with good pinion will help?

@@pierzus1 for krytac there’s not much you can do , but what I say is get a new gear set and a new motor and you will be able to adjust. Tho on the krytac you should be able to but stock shimming should be decent. Krytac is an exec period to every airsoft rule. They are so much extra work and are difficult to work with

Krytac is an exception to the rules * they require a lot more work and parts may not drop into krytacs. You can remove your bushing and sand it down a bit if need be. But for the non krytac I would just get 13:1 gears and ASG 30k motor

I actually got a Lancer as my first gun, but recently (about a year later) I stripped the threads in the gearbox that the pistol grip screws into :( Has anybody else experienced the same problem?

Replace the screws they are standard size you can google it

Hey m8 is the lancer lactical motor have silver magnets. Also how many tpa was ita... I have a couple of JG Works guns that came with motors that look and act the same, but its a m130 happily as and is not gettin hot.. Also "low guido chop shop" is using the same motor as mine to do torture test on cast gearbox runnin ten minutes straight.. Killin the wells metal gearbox hahaha but the motor it still runnin sweet as and he only got upto m120 and the box breaks. So next box will be better video But mine is runnin m125 SS 2 teeth, and i no sum1 using same motor with m135 has been for awhile now, so im just wonderin if its the same motor as mine, looks identical no markings at all but behaves the same, magnets arent that impressive on mine but doesnt get real hot. I was told was jg blue any chance that mine comin from a jg gun is a jg blue.. Look forward to ur reply... Cheers..

The stock motor in the gen 2 is absolute shit man. We for sure have different motors. The gen 3 has a high torque but the motor that’s as stock on this gun has ferrite magnets are was probably the lowest torque I’ve seen in my life

Neo are nickel coated cause then rust fast with out it but ferrite magnets are ceramic and black colour as they do not need to be coated as they dont rust(sorry off topic).. Anyway magnet color??
