Literally said "oh my god" when I realized how much of a MASTERPIECE this song and MV is. This isn't just the passive "Oh My God" we say but terms pertaining to sin are injected into the song itself among other things making this make so much sense. To anyone who thinks Soyeon is not a good rapper, and her English raps are bad ... Being a rapper doesn't rely on being good at English. She is a Korean having an accent is not a sin..Her raps in Korean are work of art...her wordplay and lyrical ability is no joke....and her tone !! That's up to preference, that's subjective...imo that's what sets her apart from others in the industry...Soyeon has various tones she herself chooses to rap with... Listen to popstars KDA and Hann Alone in Winter.... Her tone is not the usual edgy, cutting ,bright, nasal type in it. It's like you wouldn't even recognise it's her at first. These are just examples...Also considering every other part there is to rapping, Soyeon is way above any other female idol rapper today in kpop.. At this moment, Soyeon is the best female rapper in k-pop....and that's not an opinion. It's just a fact. I am not saying this because I like her or anything, it's because I am a huge fan of rap in general. And she is indeed one of the bests out there. If you want to debate more on that find me a female idol rapper who can do a 16 note to 32 note displacement flow or offbeat flows like Soyeon has done this year, for a advertisement called "Play Buldak''... Many wouldn't even dare to try it. And I remind you, she did that for an AD !! I will make it easy for you, there is NONE ... Not even CL not even Ellie not even Hyuna Not even Moonbyul...Just Her. Jeon Soyeon. I don't expect you to go and be in awe with Soyeon's rap after this. But think twice before you say someone else is the best female rapper in kpop. She deserves to be acknowledged for her skills and contributions to the rapping in kpop. Here's an alternate story to feed your imagination. Miyeon the main angel is actually the bad guy. She was seen holding a cup of wine. The wine plays an integral part of the story because that's what actually causes the corruption of the other angels. She let her cup fall and the wine spilled to those angels below her, corrupting them into demons. Only she was safe from the curse of the red wine because she was on top of a high pedestal, basically untouchable. The red wine theory would explain why Soyeon has a drop of red wine on her lip and Minnie's face was covered with it while in the "purgatory". In their state of mind, that's where they start transforming. Also in the chorus, when Miyeon's cup fell, it unleashed the demons. Yuqi wasn't there directly but she saw what Miyeon did and she knew what would happen if the wine is spilt, that's why she looked so shocked when she saw Miyeon letting the cup fall to the other angels. *[By @Soranryu Shun]* As Yuqi saw what Miyeon did to the angels, Miyeon personally corrupted her for being a witness. That's why in the 2nd pre-chorus, as Miyeon cuts her verse to Yuqi, She "pushes" Yuqi and there's fire and darkness and it's there we first see Yuqi corrupted and falling. Shuhua's an angel who was allegedly saved from corruption because AGAIN they were on top a pedestal but not as high as Miyeon's, she was considered a "hero" because she didn't know what was happening and that she only led the small remaining angels against the dark side. Soojin, one of the first corrupted had a plan of revenge against Miyeon that's why she attacked Shuhua in the "whispering scene" to let Shuhua know the truth, since her pedestal isn't as high as Miyeon's, she was easily accessible and that what caused her downfall.
