Soyeon has a natural leader aura and you can tell that through her expressions. She's also used to be competitive that's why she looks intense all the time. I'm actually afraid that some people might misunderstood it and make her look bad.

But have you ever thought that maybe they get it, they understand since she's the leader and they trust her that she knows what's best for them? She's a born leader, I only follow and know handful of kpop leaders. only a few exudes that aura and power. I saw it on RM--tho he's kinda soft on the first look, he gains respect because of his responsible and i-can-get-anything-done type of personality, Hanbin on the other hand is straight up strict, like a tiger, he gets anything done thoroughly, no half-cooked project. Jihoon and Hyunsuk--Jihoon in particular have this air where everyone keeps asking about his opinion and say because they know they can trust his judgement, Hyunsuk is fun on fun situations, but serious on serious situations (they fill each other's void in leading), I'm not deep into red velvet but Irene have this particular air as well, idk them well but looking at her screams "respect me" and power. If blackpink has a leader, it's obviously Jisoo, not because she's the oldest, but because she has the qualities and like what I said, the freaking "air" Jisoo's smart as well. Soyeon, freaking meticulous and perfectionist, tho it may sound as a bad thing. She use this wisely, like hanbin she doesn't like half-cooked projects. Looks like someone who won't take shit and look down on because she knows damn well her skills and capabilities. Someone who hates it when people use crying as a weapon. I think people say she has an intense stare because she looks into their eyes. In Korean(okay, maybe asian in general) culture, if I'm not mistaken, direct eye contact is considered rude. I don't know why, maybe it has to do with all of that hierarchy system and that looking into someone's eyes might seem as if you were challenging them or something.
