Dance film-directing veteran Jon Chu takes a crack at G.I. Joe in this sequel to Stephen Sommers' blockbuster 2009 film. that little gesture of storm shadow reaching out for a random henchman spoke volumes to his character identity, that while hes a vicious villain he is still compassionate, i like when they write characters like this, its unrealistic for someone to be just completely heartless, villains have a motive but they still have compassion

That's something I'd love to see in the movies, because originally Snake-Eyes was a badass long before he even trained as a ninja. Nowadays they have him training with the Arashikagi Clan from childhood, but originally he became best friends with Storm Shadow in Vietnam, then when his face & throat were torn up in an explosion he traveled back to Japan to recuperate with the Clan on Shadow's advice. THAT's when he started his ninja training... and also why Shadow hates him so much. Dude studied all his life to be the best ninja, and then his white buddy from 'Nam becomes the teacher's favorite student after training for half the time.

0:42 I love this shot so much and how Snake had the choice to shoot him down (not to kill! They need him alive) but waits for the real weapons to be out for an honorable battle. They always got Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow perfect in the G.I Joe duelogy, lots of mystery. just enough info but not overloaded, great fight scenes, and great actors! I’ll always love Snake Eyes and yes I’m retreating back to the only good Live Action G.I Joe film since the new film disappoints.

It's funny how snake eyes accuracy works, when he is trying to shoot multiple little ninja stars flying in nonlinear tragectory at high speed he shoot them bullseye whit no problem, but when he is trying to shoot stormshadow a single bigger a slower target he can't land him even one bullet

He wasn't trying to kill him or even shoot him. My thinking is that snake eyes was the distraction while jinx finished taking out the henchmen. Because he knew jinx couldn't handle Storm Shadow on her own.

I would note that by shooting at the stars he is shooting at Storm shadow with a machine-gun... yet SS doesn't get hit by bullets that were aimed right at him. (Could be said SE just has great control, but still.)
