Thank you. I think they had character too. Most are from Modellbau-Werkstatt Bertram Heyn and a few I have made. As far as I can, I place them where they would be on the real railway.

@@simonp2560 Can i ask you some questions? On how did you started this, by parts or you thought it like this from the begining?

@@profesorblancocienciassoci8873 It has evolved over many years. Originally it was a small industrial railway, 16mm scale, 32mm gauge, up the left side of the garden. Then I added the line on the right to make it a U shaped end to end. The 32mm track did not work well so I sold it and relaid the railway 45mm gauge. Next came the connection to give me the option of running trains in a circle. I have made other changes with experience. Loops have been added so I could run more trains. The design is determined by features in the garden, it follows the flower beds and plants. The large tree dictates a lot of the layout. I think I have got as much railway as I can into the space.

@@simonp2560 Thanks for abswer. I m a fan of railroads videos and traib simulator games but i ve never have one train myself (very expensive to be into railroad) but i love seen everything i can. And i m curious on how the garden layout thing works and evolves. So thanks for your answer

Thanks for your kind comments. The film was taken by a friend of mine whilst I drove the trains. The camera was a Panasonic Full HD HC-V180. It was attached to a low sided wagon using nothing more sophisticated than elastic bands.

Thank you. All the locos featured in the video use track power. DCC. They use the LGB decoders they came with and I use an ESU ECOS with a single power connector.

Not as big as that, but it goes into each corner to make most use of the space. G scale can be built in small spaces.

Guilty as charged. The only defence is real life foliage grows quicker than 22:1 model Railway operations. It is not the maintenance crew failing but the line’s owner. It needs daily checks in the Spring and summer. Even then some growth is not noticeable until you play back a film…
