G Scale trains on my outdoor train layout. October 2023

Күн бұрынI forgot I had a folder on my computer with a few clips of a train running from last month. I'm really not sure how I missed it.
So, I threw together a short video.
The train is a USA Trains Chessie SD40-2, a USA Trains CSX SD40-2, and an Aristocraft SD45, all pulling a short mixed freight on my layout.

@@southernillinoisgscale8206 oh that will probably take till spring. I extended the layout by a big station last summer and had hardly any time to really play or produce any footage. But next year I will do a layout tour. Now 6000 feet of track and 150 plus switches. :-)

Wonderful thank you for sharing. I had to decide, trains or RC cars, back to trains, working on my raised garden train layout. It just some fun thing to do.

I use to have a ton of r/c cars too. That was about 20 years ago!

I'm new to g scale. I was wondering how does your unit's run. Do you produce electricity to track, or are the unit's remote. Thank you.

Each of my locomotives have batteries in them. The also have Crest Revolution receivers in them allowing wireless control.
